South Florida TEA Party calls for a walkout
The South Florida TEA Party is calling for the GOP reps to walk ou now on the health care debate.
The President campaigned on Transparency and yet was buttressed by the Democrats in Congress voting down the ideal to allow “We the People” to view Bills for 72 hours before they are voted upon. They too voted down the prospect of Congressional Budget Office scoring of legislation, before it is voted upon by members of Congress.
Because “We the People” have spoken on deaf ears in Washington, because when we arrived in D.C. to raise our voices, they adjourned and went home. We have had enough of playing by their rules, we prefer to honor the Constitution. This is why we ask our Republican members of the Senate Finance Committee to WALK OUT NOW!
Write your congressmen and tell them how you feel about this. The Progressives are going to ram through Obamacare socialized medicine and increase the debt load for our great grandchildren.

Do you know of OpenCongress.org ??
OpenCongress.org is a great website for watching bills and keeping track of politicians you want to watch. There are searches and blogs and comments and all kinds of great features.
Once you set up a profile you can click on the WATCH button for bills, congressmen, house rules, whatever. This gives you a central dashboard for watching the progress of bills and actions on bhills. This can help you figure when it is time to write your senator or representative about your stand on a bill, etc.

Valerie Jarrett’s Ethics Waiver?
from wikipedia article:
Valerie Bowman Jarrett (born November 14, 1956) is a Chicago lawyer, businesswoman, and civic leader. She is best known for her role as an advisor to President Barack Obama. Jarrett is a Senior Advisor and Assistant to the President for Public Engagement and Intergovernmental Affairs for the Obama administration. Prior to that she served as a co-chairperson of the Obama-Biden Transition Project.
This senior advisor to the president was responsible for the Grove Parc housing project. Needless to say, this was a government subsidized project that made big money for the people involved.
This same senior advisor just flew to Copenhagen with Michelle Obama, to be joined tomorrow by Barak, to lobby for Chicago to host the 2016 Olympics. Needless to say, the olympic venues will require a lot of space to build. This space will be provided by tearing down condemned properties, such as the government subsidized Grove Parc housing complex and other holdings of Valerie Jarret’s Habitat Company. By the way: the Grove Parc property is in the area represented by then Illinois Senator Barak Obama.
This same Senior Advisor to the President of the United States was on the short list for Barak Obama’s vacated Senate seat, before Blago went to jail. She chose instead to go with Obama to Washington DC.
Even though Barak Obama vowed to clean up corruption in Washington and vowed not to hire any lobbyist for any position in his administration, This same Valerie Jarret is on Judicial Watch’s “Ten Most Corrupt Politicians” list.
Sounds to me like “transparency in government” does not mean a whole lot to our beloved president. Maybe that is why he granted her an “ethics waiver.” I know that ethics is something that needs to be waived routinely in Chicago and Washington, so this is no big deal, right?

Big Government » Blog Archive » Obama Cap-and-Trade Scheme: What do “necessarily skyrocket” and “bankrupt” mean?
Golly… can I say that?
Really! I think lawyers are the root of most of the problems we have. What I mean is this… that doing the right thing has taken a back seat to doing the expedient thing.
That is SIN.

Local ministry strives to rescue children in Latin America | The Good News
Local ministry strives to rescue children in Latin America | The Good News
Be very careful you do not fall into this crowd. We are encouraged to care for those who are less fortunate.
There are many in this world who go to bed hungry at night, even in this nation. As much as we have, we think we are materially poor. Yet we do not want for food, water or shelter.
There are others, who struggle each day to find those things we take for granted. They could even be the homeless man on the side of the street!
I am encouraged and know from personal experience the promised in Malachi 3. If you step out in faith and tithe, God will open the storehouse and you cannot keep it all. It is His economy that He encourages us to release the grips on the things we cling to in this world. When you do, you are more able to see things through His eyes.
I know times are tough, and there are those making great sacrifice. I challenge all of us to set something aside and be ready to be a blessing to someone else in need. Whether it be supporting a child in Latin America, or helping someone in your neighborhood, be ready!
It is not the act of giving that God blesses, but the willingness and intent of the heart. Give because there is need, not in obedience to God.
The true test is the condition of your heart, not what you do!

Israel PM Netanyahu’s Address to UN 64th General Assembly
This is an important speech for anyone who loves freedom. Links to the videos at the end. – bradfoot
published by the Israel News Agency
By Israel News Agency Staff
United Nations, New York —– September 24, 2009 … The following speech by the Israel Prime Minister to the delegates of the UN was provided to the Israel News Agency by the Israel Prime Minister’s Office and the Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Mr. President, Ladies and Gentlemen, nearly 62 years ago, the United Nations recognized the right of the Jews, an ancient people 3,500 years-old, to a state of their own in their ancestral homeland.
I stand here today as the Prime Minister of Israel, the Jewish state, and I speak to you on behalf of my country and my people.
The United Nations was founded after the carnage of World War II and the horrors of the Holocaust. It was charged with preventing the recurrence of such horrendous events.
Nothing has undermined that central mission more than the systematic assault on the truth. Yesterday the President of Iran stood at this very podium, spewing his latest anti-Semitic rants. Just a few days earlier, he again claimed that the Holocaust is a lie.
Last month, I went to a villa in a suburb of Berlin called Wannsee. There, on January 20, 1942, after a hearty meal, senior Nazi officials met and decided how to exterminate the Jewish people. The detailed minutes of that meeting have been preserved by successive German governments. Here is a copy of those minutes, in which the Nazis issued precise instructions on how to carry out the extermination of the Jews. Is this a lie? Continue reading »

Swine Flu Quarantine Coming?
A few weeks ago my wife was speculating that there would be a quarantine for “a swine flu outbreak” to get people off the streets. I just saw a commercial about how the Palm Beach County Health Department is handing out “My Flu Ready Shopping List” pamphlets at grocery stores.
Interesting list and information. The point of it is to get people to take the flu shot and the swine flu shot. That alone is enough to start a flu epidemic. Let’s see how this all turns out.
