Do You Know What These Two Men Have In Common?
Do You Know What These Two Men Have In Common?

They both died June 25th, 2009.
One has been covered 24/7 by the media the other has been forgotten.
Travel back with me 44 years…..
You’re a 19-year-old kid. You’re critically wounded and dying in the jungle in the Ia Drang Valley , 11-14-1965, LZ X-ray, Vietnam . Your infantry unit is outnumbered 8-1 and the enemy fire is so intense, from 100 or 200 yards away, that your own Infantry Commander has ordered the MediVac helicopters to stop coming in.
You’re lying there, listening to the enemy machine guns, and you know you’re not getting out. Your family is half way around the world, 12,000 miles away and you’ll never see them again. As the world starts to fade in and out, you know this is the day. Continue reading »

Are you ready for the coming storm?
A newly found nuclear production facility in Iran. England, France and the US together call out Iran over their nuclear ambitions. Talk of Israel attacking Iran to destroy those facilities. Brezinski calling for the US to attack Israeli war planes if they do attack.
G20 meetings protested in Pittsburgh. Islam on Capitol Hill brings 2 to 5000 muslims and non muslim protesters to Washington. Weeks before 1 to 2 million TEA Partiers marched on Washington, did not have any arrests and picked up their trash on the way home; they were ignored by the US Government and could explode some time soon.
To say the least, we are living in interesting times. There is talk of coming riots, hyper inflation, martial law, swine flu quarantines, limited nuclear strikes, etc.
Not to sound like an alarmist, but I wonder if you are physically prepared for the possibility of being stuck at home with no way to get food, possibly no electricity or water? Continue reading »

If you believe in prayer you better pray for this judge and his family or they may just disappear.
in an email forwarded from Jeff SchwilkFEDERAL JUDGE Carter sets Trial Date for Obama’s Eligibility!!!
The expedited trial has been set for Jan. 26, 2010. I and many other concerned veterans and citizens attended the hearing today in Federal Court in Santa Ana in the lawsuit against Barack Obama to determine his eligibility to be President and Commander in Chief. About 150 people showed up, almost all in support of the lawsuit to demand that Obama release his birth certificate and other records that he has hidden from the American people. Continue reading »

Are We Alone in the Universe?
Are we alone in the universe?
Consider the expanse of all of creation; the astronomical distances just from the Earth to the Sun are astounding alone. But when you start to add in the distances between the Sun and the nearest star and then look at some of the recent Hubble telescope photos, it does make you wonder truly if we are not alone.
I believe that we are not alone. You see… From my perspective, We live in a great universe composed of significantly huge galaxies, stars, planets and spaces. I do wonder with all the space how we can be the only ones to exist in it! I have no reason to believe we are not alone… Continue reading »

Change
There’s an old sea story in the Navy about a ship’s Captain who inspected his sailors, and afterward told the Chief Boson that his men smelled bad.
The Captain suggested perhaps it would help if the sailors would change underwear occasionally. The Chief responded, “Aye, aye sir, I’ll see to it immediately!
The Chief went straight to the sailors berth deck and announced, “The
Captain thinks you guys smell bad and wants you to change your
underwear. Pittman, you change with Jones, McCarthy, you change with Kwiatkowski, and Brown you change with Schultz. Now get to it!!!”
THE MORAL:
Someone may be promising “Change” in Washington; but don’t count on things smelling any better !

The “affordable health care” bill is about seizing control
from Michael Connelly – Retired attorney, Constitutional Law Instructor, Carrollton, Texas
Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009. I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected. Continue reading »

THE DEGENERATING HUMAN RACE
Many people have a view of evolution as a progressive, upward movement toward perfection. Evolution, they feel, means that everything is getting better over time. Serious evolutionists would disagree with that interpretation. Instead, they see evolution as simply the process by which organisms become better adapted to their environments, whether or not that adaption looks like a step upward. An organism can be considered improved in the sense that it is more fit to live in a specific environment, but evolution isn’t really about getting better; it’s about surviving.
Even using that stricter understanding of evolution, though, it can be argued that life on earth, and especially the human race, is not evolving at all. In fact, some people argue that the human race is devolving, that we’re degenerating in a variety of ways and are consequently losing the ability to survive. More to the point, we can argue that our physical bodies, beautiful though they are, are mere shadows of the excellent bodies God gave our ancestors when He created the world, and the disease and physical suffering we see around us is a result of a fallen world and thousands of years of degeneration.
It’s easy to see that despite our fantastic technology, there’s a shameful lot of disease and weakness in our world. We can blame a variety of factors for the downward spiral; poor eating habits, diets of highly processed foods, less physical work and play, a lack of sunshine and fresh air as we spend our days indoors, a dependence on synthetic drugs for medicine – the list can go on and on. Read the Bill
Sunlight Foundation’s Read the Bill campaign asks that Congress post all legislation online for at least 72 hours before it is considered. Currently, we are pushing for the passage of H. Res. 554 – which mandates these important rules changes.
Your support will help us ensure that advocates and active citizens like us have time to make our voices heard before Congress decides on the policies that ultimately affect our communities.
Go to Read The Bill and sign the petition
Watch HR554 on OpenCongress.org
Call your Representatives and Senators and let them know how you feel

Blair Holt Bill Revisited
Blair Holt lives on in emails
I got another email on H.R.45 - Blair Holt’s Firearm Licensing and Record of Sale Act of 2009
It does not look like it is going anywhere. No actions since February, no votes. Some email buzz, no co sponsors. A lot of negative buzz about it and almost 7000 people watching it.
You can watch it too. Just join a site like Open Congress and you can see what is going on, set up bill trackers, comment on public boards, etc.
OpenCongress is a free and open-source joint project of two non-profit organizations, the Participatory Politics Foundation and the Sunlight Foundation. Continue reading »
