Obama wanted soldiers to buy private insurance.
This email has gone around a few times but it is worth examining again.

WASHINGTON, DC (March 16, 2009) – The leader of the nation’s largest veterans organization says he is “deeply disappointed and concerned” after a meeting with President Obama today to discuss a proposal to force private insurance companies to pay for the treatment of military veterans who have suffered service-connected disabilities and injuries. The Obama administration recently revealed a plan to require private insurance carriers to reimburse the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) in such cases.
“It became apparent during our discussion today that the President intends to move forward with this unreasonable plan,” said Commander David K. Rehbein of The American Legion. “He says he is looking to generate $540-million by this method, but refused to hear arguments about the moral and government-avowed obligations that would be compromised by it. …”
I am glad the second block was satire. If he had actually said something that stupid and insensitive he would have to worry that one of the returning veteran war hero snipers his homeland security queen called “domestic terrorists” would have taken him out from a mile away. 
Truthfully, that he would even ask something like this of the people our country sends into harm’s way, to save a measly $540 million, just shows how shallow and ungrateful the man is. It would only take them 16.7 minutes to spend that on something else. I mean, if you want something REALLY SCARY to display on Halloween, print out this page.
Before the election some good friends said they were going to vote for Obama. They are intelligent, responsible people, so I went to his campaign website and looked at what he planned to do. I read for a long time and came away with the question “Who on earth is going to pay for all this???” I watched the campaign coverage and saw that people really believed that he was the messiah.
I wondered who would let themselves be worshiped like that? Could I actually conceive of anybody being such a narcissist? Then I saw the story about how he wanted our soldiers to pay for their own insurance. My son is a soldier, so I know how little they are paid. after paying for their own insurance most of them would qualify for food stamps. (actually, many of them already qualify for food stamps)
Thats when the epiphany kicked in. I understood that this man had an ego the size of Jupiter and truly hated this country and wanted to completely destroy it. The way he would do that would be to fundamentally change the way America works, by destroying the free market, taxing the citizens to death and making everyone dependent on the US government for a handout. To pay for all this he would just print money because he knew he would not be able to sell the US debt for much longer.
Throw in a treaty or two, like the one he will sign in Copenhagen this December, to give away US sovereignty and the US would crumble to ashes and all the third world countries would cheer because they hated our success. Well, maybe cheer for a little bit, until they figure out they are ruled by this one world government they created. With the US destroyed, who is going to support this government? OOPS the rest of the world is going to have to do it. Since we will be a third world country at that point, they will have to pay to support us. And everyone melts into a Marxist nightmare.

White House vs. Fox News Poll
If you haven’t heard this, the White House is accusing Fox News of not being a legitimate source of news, calling them biased, etc. They have tried to block Fox reporters from news conferences, etc., but the other news networks are fighting back (in favor of Fox) and caused the White House to back down.
NPR has put a survey online for us to voice our opinion. If you want to vote in this survey, go to the link below and cast your vote. Currently it is 70% against the White House. Let’s show them how we feel about honest conservative news reporting.

I have nothing against the man personally; I have never even met him. I do know he is not the messiah and resent him being treated as the messiah by the press. I also resent how he surrounds himself with radical communist true believers that commission artists to create propaganda art for him. I also resent how he is trying to dismantle the free market system, brick by brick.
I am amazed that he believes in an economic philosophy that has completely failed everywhere in the world it has been tried. I guess he believes his own press. Maybe he truly believes he is the messiah.
I just hope we have a country left when his reign is over.

I am conservative, but I believe in helping people.
I am a conservative person. I believe in small non intrusive governement, low taxes and not using tax payer money to subsidize any type of charity, domestic or (especially) foreign.
This does not mean I believe in hording my money and beating away people that need a helping hand. I love to help people. I give time to charitable work. I give money to charities I believe in. I give money to street people that are begging. If there is a disaster in some foreign land, I will team up with some churches or other groups and send them help, maybe even go there myself as I have in the past.
I wish I could give more time and money but the government takes so much I don’t have enough left to pay my bills.
What is the government doing with the money it confiscates from us?
- They have a welfare program that encourages single family homes where generation after generation have tons of babies so they can get “free government money” without having to work.
- They give it to foreign countries that want to see us wiped off the face of the earth.
- They give it to themselves in the form of automatic pay raises, insane retirement programs and top of the line health care, all benefits that we lowly members of the “unwashed masses” do not deserve.
In other words, the elite rulers in Washington know much better than we do how our hard earned money should be spent.
Spread the wealth? I don’t have much left. Why don’t you spread my WORK ETHIC instead?!
I believe it is way past time to vote out all these leeches that feed from the public trough and only care about the special interest groups that give them kickbacks. We need to throw away the entire tax code, disband about ninety percent of the federal government and give the power and money they steal back to the state and local governments and to the citizens of these United States.
Then we will have some money left over after paying our bills and will be able to support the charities we want to.

Obama Signs Bill Violating ‘Equal Justice Under the Law,’ Critics Say
On Wednesday President Obama signed a bill that includes making it a “hate crime” if a crime is committed against someone of the LGBT persuasion. The hate crimes law was hidden in a defense appropriations bill. Not passing the bill would mean troops would not get paid.
Last year a similar standalone bill was shot down in congress because the congressmen knew they would get de-elected if their constituents heard they voted to pass legislation that 80% of the citizens despise.
I propose legislation making it illegal to hide junk like this in totally unrelated legislation. It will never pass, though, if the sneaky progressives have anything to say about it.
None of this is a surprise. Most elitist intellectuals that run this country deny that God created this world or even exists for that matter. According to Romans 1:18-32 homosexuality is a judgment on a nation that denies the creator. Since Atheism is the official religion of the United States, homosexuality is rampant. Now, under Obama, it is getting to be officially condoned.
I do not support discrimination against or ill treatment of homosexuals or other perverts. God loves them as much as He loves me. Still, I do not support making this perverted “alternative lifestyle” officially condoned and protected by law. I think Obama has poked his finger in God’s eye enough for one presidency and he has not been in a full year yet. Will we have a country left when it comes time to vote him out?

This is an interesting read to say the least. I marvel at how far we advance in science… yet how little we truly understand it.
Yes, we can do great and wonderful things, even manipulate existing DNA. We are at the forefront of a brave new world.
But… do we really know what we are doing? Science says that up to 95% percent of the human genome is made of “junk DNA.” Some say it is junk, left over from evolution others say it may have new uses. Regardless, we don;t really know!
Yet, they can manipulate this and create different kinds of cells from stem cells. This is great and may lead to new therapies.
But the tell… comes in the comments:
Don’t keep publishing stories like this ! It upsets the ‘Creationists’ – we aren’t supposed to be able to create life, you see, it is all down to the great master in the sky !
I have to really laugh at stuff like this! The commenter has failed in critical thought. Here’s how:
First… I am a “creationist” and am not upset about a story like this… unless, the stem cells were removed from an aborted baby.
Second… “we” (I read that as human beings) have NOT created life… “we” have only manipulated a few stem cells to make sperm and eggs. This is a natural existing process.
Third… He is the Great Master, but does not reside in the sky. That is language you use to make sense of God to yourself.
What I would really like for science to achieve is this… to create their own dust from nothing, merge this dust into their own elements, create their own error-correcting genetic code, create a living cell with that code, and then have that living cell replicate and evolve into a higher life form. These are some of the simpler tasks… but an already existing single cell organism is so vastly complex that science cannot create one, from nothing.
This commenter does not understand that these scientists are using Someone else’s dust and His patterns. That does not really impressive me or scare me at all.

Look really hard at those single cells… explain how the genetic code came into existence without a sender and receiver who have agreed in advance to the code, otherwise it would be gibberish. Explain your way out of irreducible complexity. Or try something easy how does biochemical protein folding EVOLVE into being?
