A simple truth: For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: 2 Thessalonians 3:10-11 If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies
The simple truth here is good both ways… if you don’t want to work, you will not eat! That will eventually come true.
You see, truth is always true. Platitudes, however, are sinister and are often cloaked in propaganda. Repeat the story long enough and people believe it as fact. But that doesn’t make it true. The truth here… if you do not work for it, you cannot have it, neither do you deserve it!
