The Green Religion and ClimateGate
Interview with Steven Mosher posted at biggovernment.com

This is very interesting to me. I have long posited that AGW was a religion and not a science. Corruption has snuck its nose under the tent of science. How you ask?
It is very simple, when government funds science, especially when an outcome is desired or possibly predictable, human nature becomes involved. The money is funded for certain research, say global warming, and in doing the research you discover that it is most likely a natural process well beyond your control. This is your life’s work… if what you are finding is true, then you may be out of work. Self-preservation becomes the overriding factor.
Adam Baldwin posited thus:
“I think one of the big, missing stories here is how the scientific publishing mechanism is corrupted. I mean, I think of “Global Warming” as kind of a religion, and what you see in the mails is how they construct the canon, of how they corrupt the journal publishing, to get the papers published what they WANT published, with the reviewers that they want reviewing it and the papers they don’t want published, they keep out.”
Now, this “pseudo-science” can really be classified as religion. It is based on belief with some evidence, obviously subject to misinterpretation, yet no proof has been offered!
For most of us who have questioned certain parts of what is modernly called “science” this came as no surprise. Now if only the same scrutiny can be applied to the far older religion that masquerades as science! That religion is set forth in “The Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection, or The Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life.”
Yes, I have been called the names listed at the end of the article, and they show the vapidity of the arguments being offered. Usually, though before this happens… the point is made as scholars say, those who study say, etc. What they really always mean is “You are dumb and cannot understand this, we are the smart ones!”
Don’t buy that! Always examine the worldview first!

The Florida Constitution and National Healthcare
Curiously, there is a little known right guaranteed in the Constitution of the State of Florida. It is here.
ARTICLE I DEFINITION OF RIGHTS, SECTION 23. Right of privacy.–Every natural person has the right to be let alone and free from governmental intrusion into the person’s private life except as otherwise provided herein. This section shall not be construed to limit the public’s right of access to public records and meetings as provided by law.
Reading the plain English, it guarantees me the right from governmental intrusion into my private life. And since the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights in Article X declares… “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
As I reason, Florida’s Constitution supersedes on this point. In light of the above, I have some questions to ask…
How can the government require me to carry health insurance when it is a clear violation of the above?
Why do I have to answer obviously intrusive and private questions every ten years for the U.S. census?
It seems to me that those who are elected to serve the people do not. They either do not understand the positions of service with which they are entrusted, or flagrantly violate that trust.
I would like to know… how one of the Senators from my state, Bill Nelson, could cast a vote in the U.S. Senate that violates the Constitution of the State of Florida. Can anyone answer this?
