Scientist Craig Venter creates life for first time in laboratory sparking debate about ‘playing god’
May 20th, 2010
For some reason, this reminds me of a joke… the punchline was something like “Oh yeah! Make your own dirt!”
Seriously, this is described as creating new life?
Is the empty cell created by the scientist?
Is the DNA language created by the scientist?
Is the machinery for replicating the DNA created by the scientist?
It seems to me, that in man’s arrogance, he does not acknowledge the gifts God has endowed to him, like creativity. And he then uses the gift of God’s creativity, borrows some of His dust, changes a few things around, and then he has the audacity to call it creation!
