Who Are the Two Gods in Daniel 7:13-14?

Daniel 7:13-14 “I saw in the night visions, and behold, with the clouds of heaven there came one like a son of man, and he came to the Ancient of Days and was presented before him. And to him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom one that shall not be destroyed.”

This is a particularly exciting passage of scripture. It records God, here described as the “Ancient of Days” on the throne, yet someone who looked like a human being was presented to Him. Yet, implied in the original language, this human being was not mortal. In fact, this Human was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, and that all peoples and nations and languages should serve him. I would ask, is this Human then a God on par and equal to the Ancient of Days?

The Israelites of Jesus’ time new the scripture well… in fact they knew this very passage referred to the Messiah, they also knew that the Messiah would reign forever, as is clearly expressed by the last phrase in the passage. They also knew the Messiah was God.

In John 12:27-34 there is an interesting conversation between Jesus and a crowd of Jewish followers. The Jews ended with some questions posed to Jesus. “We have heard from the Law that the Christ remains forever. How can you say that the Son of Man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of Man?”

Curiously, Jesus Himself declared He must be lifted up, and would die. Those Jews present knew what the scripture said of the Messiah, or son of man, in Daniel 7:13-14. It surely must have perplexed some… but let us look at another New Testament passage… this time in the book of Matthew. Jesus is on trial before the high priest.

Matthew 14:60-63 “And the high priest stood up in the midst and asked Jesus, “Have you no answer to make? What is it that these men testify against you?” But he remained silent and made no answer. Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Christ, the Son of the Blessed?” And Jesus said, “I am, and you will see the Son of Man seated at the right hand of Power, and coming with the clouds of heaven.” And the high priest tore his garments and said, “What further witnesses do we need?”

Here, recorded for us, is exactly what the high priest and Jews believed before the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus. The son of man was indeed God, as Jesus Himself quoted and even ascribed Daniel 7:13 to Himself, calling Himself the Son of God. The reaction of the priest is self-explanatory.

And as the priest declared, I then ask you… “What further witnesses do we need?”

What is wrong in this video?

Is it the style of preaching?

Is it the “name it and claim it” style of Christianity?

Watch the entire video. The error is manifest as the disease that infects some of our churches today. It is the “seeker” only sensitivity… it reaches out to young people, often rejecting older, wiser saints!

Where are the elders in this “church?”

Where are those with the wisdom that comes from age?

Brothers and sisters, healthy churches have a mixed population of races and AGES. If the older, wiser people are excluded, error creeps in unawares!

And after error… apostasy!

Most of you have heard about the Dodd-Frank financial overhaul bill that Congress is trying to slip by us again without reading or knowing the full content.

HB 1388 PASSED!!

You just spent $20,000,000 to move members/supporters of Hamas, a terrorist organization, to the United States; housing, food, the whole enchilada.

Whether you are an Obama fan, or not, EVERYONE IN THE U.S. needs to know….. Something happened… H.R. 1388 was passed, behind our backs.

You may want to read about it… It wasn’t mentioned on the news… just went by on the ticker tape at the bottom of the CNN screen.

Obama funds $20M in tax payer dollars to immigrate Hamas Refugees to the USA . This is the news that didn’t make the headlines….

By executive order, President Barack Obama has ordered the expenditure of $20.3 million in “migration assistance” to the Palestinian refugees and “conflict victims” in Gaza .

The ”presidential determination,” which allows hundreds of thousands of Palestinians with ties to Hamas to resettle in the United States , was signed and appears in the Federal Register.

Few on Capitol Hill, or in the media, took note that the order provides a free ticket replete with housing and food allowances to individuals who have displayed their overwhelming support to the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas) in the parliamentary election of January 2006.

Let’s review….itemized list of some of Barack Obama’s most recent actions since his inauguration:

His first call to any head of state, as president, was to Mahmoud Abbas, leader of Fatah party in the Palestinian territory.

His first one-on-one television interview with any news organization was with Al Arabia television.

His first executive order was to fund/facilitate abortion(s) not just here within the U. S. but throughout the world, using U.S. tax payer funds.

He ordered Guantanamo Bay closed and all military trials of detainees halted.

He ordered overseas CIA interrogation centers closed.

He withdrew all charges against the masterminds behind the USS Cole and the ”terror attack” on 9/11.

Now we learn that he is allowing hundreds of thousands of Palestinian refuges to move to, and live in, the US at American taxpayer expense.

These important, and insightful, issues are being “lost” in the blinding bail-outs and “stimulation” packages.

N.J. Assembly Millionaires Tax Plan

I remember discussing something similar with a friend recently.

My wife’s friend came to visit in their RV and we were given a tour of their new motor home. Upon noticing the South Dakota license plate on the RV and knowing the friend and her boyfriend, Larry, were residents of Wisconsin, my brilliant bride inquired to these friends about the license plate.

We both know these two people live on a tight budget. The reply was innocently enough, the taxes were too high in Wisconsin and it was cheaper to register the RV elsewhere!

The conversation turned to taxes and I specifically mentioned the problems with high, punitive taxes and used Maryland’s “millionaire” tax issue as an example. I mentioned the flight of millionaires from Maryland to avoid the tax, proving these punitive taxes do not work.

Well Larry, overhearing the conversation, became very indignant. In anger he shouted, “They need to pay their fair share!”

I immediately thought how hypocritical, here is a man who has basically done the exact same thing, yet is angry because he thinks he is entitled to someone else’s sweat. He himself doesn’t pay his fair share to the state of Wisconsin, but instead pays it to a different state, one in which he does not reside!

You see, Larry is retired and lives on a meager military pension and social security. He has been deluded to think that is is okay to use the government to steal from someone else to support him. I bet (as if I would!) he is a registered Democrat and has voted for pols from the Democratic party all of his life!

Needless to say, I didn’t have the heart to tell the jackass cum brainiac about his faux pas, partly to save the argument with my bride.

His rude awakening is coming! The government’s money supply is finite and will dry up. Those depending on the dole need to make some kind of plan, the day of reckoning is coming. There is no money to keep paying these subsidies, and taxes will soon be so high, that the average salary will only afford the worker enough money to buy his daily sustenance, with nothing left for rent or clothing.
