Maher Questions Obama’s Christianity
Wow! If the heathens can figure it out, what does that say?
Though we Christians, speaking for the ones I know who have learned to discern, knew it all along. The first obvious clue is the worship that is expended upon the man, and his outright acceptance of it. He has placed himself on God’s throne.
Second, is his lack of humility. When displayed, it is feigned and fleeting. These things tell me, he does not know Jesus.
And third, there is no possible way he could have been acquainted with the Savior under the tutelage of Jeremiah Wright. Mr. Wright taught a different Jesus than the one taught in the bible.
But my hope and prayer is that President Obama does come to know the Savior, and repents of his sins.

Rep. Sheila Jackson Lee blasts republicans on healthcare repeal
The Democrats have sent in the light infantry. (Hey speech police, are we still allowed to type that?)
Texas Congresswoman and Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee really took it to the Republicans and their attempts to repeal healthcare reform recently.
Among Ms. Lee’s comments was a gem calling the repeal unconstitutional! “The Fifth Amendment speaks specifically to denying someone their life and liberty without due process,” she declared.
She continued, “Can you tell me what’s more unconstitutional than taking away from the people of America their Fifth Amendment rights, their Fourteenth Amendment rights, and the right to equal protection under the law?”
So stealing people’s sweat and treasure to pay for someone else to have healthcare is a-okay?
Hmmm… really, now!
This just makes for more late-night laughs, as the information superhighway is strewn with the wreckage of reckless, ill-informed commentary from Congresswoman Lee. You may occasionally stumble upon one of her myriad attempts at “clarifying” her comments. Hey, thanks Al Gore!

Bruce Vincent meets with George W Bush
WHAT AN AWESOME TRIBUTE TO GEORGE W BUSH! PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE STORY NO MATTER WHAT YOUR PERCEPTION IS OF HIM. YOU WON’T REGRET IT…
For those of us who sometimes find ourselves having doubts about our former President, here is an excellent piece — worth every minute it takes to read it. This story is from Bruce Vincent of Libby , Montana who had gone to the White House with others to receive an award from the President.
He writes:
I’ve written the following narrative to chronicle the day of the award ceremony in DC. I’m still working on a press release but the White House press corps has yet to provide a photo to go with it. When the photo comes I’ll ship it out. When you get done reading this you’ll understand the dilemma I face in telling this story beyond my circle of close friends.
Stepping into the Oval Office, each of us was introduced to the President and Mrs. Bush. We shook hands and participated in small talk. When the President was told that we were from Libby , Montana , I reminded him that Marc Racicot is our native son and the President offered his warm thoughts about Governor Racicot.
I have to tell you, I wasblown away by twothings upon entering the office. First, the Oval Office sense of ‘place’ is unreal. The President later shared a story of Russian President Putin entering the room prepared to tackle the President in a tough negotiation and upon entering, the atheist muttered his first words to the President and they were “Oh, my God.”
I concurred. I could feel the history in my bones. Second, the man that inhabits the office engaged me with a firm handshake and a look that can only be described as penetrating. Warm, alive, fully engaged, disarmingly penetrating. I was admittedly concerned about meeting the man. I think all of us have an inner hope that the most powerful man in our country is worthy of the responsibility and authority that we bestow upon them through our vote.
I admit that part of me was afraid that I would be let down by the moment — that the person and the place could not meet the lofty expectations of my fantasy world. This says nothing about my esteem for President Bush but just my practical realization that reality may not match my ‘dream.’
Once inside the office, President Bush got right down to business and, standing in front of his desk, handed out the awards one at a time while posing for photos with the winners and Mrs. Bush. With the mission accomplished, the President and Mrs. Bush relaxed and initiated a lengthy, informal conversation about a number of things with our entire small group. He and the First Lady talked about such things as the rug in the office. It is traditionally designed by the First Lady to make a statement about the President, and Mrs.Bush chose a brilliant yellow sunburst pattern to
reflect ‘hope.’ President Bush talked about the absolute need to believe that with hard work and faith in God there is every reason to start each day in the Oval Office with hope. He and the First Lady were asked about the impact of the Presidency on their marriage and, with an arm casually wrapped around Laura, he said that he thought the place may be hard on weak marriages but that it had the ability to make strong marriages even stronger and that he was blessed with a strong one.
After about 30 or 35 minutes, it was time to go. By then we were all relaxed and I felt as if I had just had an excellent visit with a friend. The President and First Lady made one more pass down the line of awardees, shaking hands and offering congratulations. When the President shook my hand I said, “Thank you Mr. President and God bless you and your family.” He was already in motion to the next person in line, but he stopped abruptly turned fully back to me, gave me a piercing look, renewed the vigor of his handshake and said, “Thank you — and God bless you and yours as well.”
On our way out of the office we were to leave by the glass doors on the west side of the office. I was the last person in the exit line. As I shook his hand one final time, President Bush said, “I’ll be sure to tell Marc hello and give him your regards.”
I then did something that surprised even me. I said to him, “Mr. President, I know you are a busy man and your time is precious. I also know you to be a man of strong faith and I have a favor to ask of you.”
As he shook my hand he looked me in the eye and said, “Just name it.” I told him that my step-Mom was at that moment in a hospital in Kalispell , Montana , having a tumor removed from her skull and it would mean a great deal to me if he would consider adding her to his prayers that day. He grabbed me by the arm and took me back toward his desk as he said, “So that’s it. I could tell that something is weighing heavy on your heart today. I could see it in your eyes. This explains it.”
From the top drawer of his desk he retrieved a pen and a note card with his seal on it and asked, “How do you spell her name?” He then jotted a note to her while discussing the importance of family and the strength of prayer. When he handed me the card, he asked about the surgery and the prognosis. I told him we were hoping that it is not a recurrence of an earlier cancer and that, if it is, they can get it all with this surgery.
He said, “If it’s okay with you, we’ll take care of the prayer right now. Would you pray with me?” I told him yes and he turned to the staff that remained in the office and hand motioned the folks to step back or leave. He said, “Bruce and I would like some private time for a prayer.”
As they left he turned back to me and took my hands in his. I was prepared to do a traditional prayer stance — standing with each other with heads bowed. Instead, he reached for my head with his right hand and pulling gently forward, he placed my head on his shoulder. With his left arm on my mid-back, he pulled me to him in a prayerful embrace.
He started to pray softly. I started to cry. He continued his prayer for Loretta and for God’s perfect will to be done. I cried some more. My body shook a bit as I cried and he just held tighter. He closed by asking God’s blessing on Loretta and the family during the coming months. I stepped away from our embrace, wiped my eyes, swiped at the tears I’d left on his shoulder, and looked into the eyes of our president. I thanked him as best I could and told him that me and my family would continue praying for him and his.
As I write this account down and reflect upon what it means, I have to tell you that all I really know is that his simple act left me humbled and believing. I so hoped that the man I thought him to be was the man that he is. I know that our nation needs a man such as this in the Oval Office. George W. Bush is the real deal. I’ve read Internet stories about the President praying with troops in hospitals and other such uplifting accounts. Each time I read them I hoped them to be true and not an Internet perpetuated myth. This one, I know to be true. I was there. He is real. He has a pile of incredible stuff on his plate each day — and yet he is tuned in so well to the here and now that he ‘sensed’ something heavy on my heart. He took time out of his life to care, to share, and to seek God’s blessing for my family in a simple man-to-man, father-to-father, son-to-son, husband-to-husbad, Christian- to-Christian prayerful embrace. He’s not what I had hoped he would be. He is, in fact, so very, very much more.
NOTE: If you decide to forward this story… please do not add to it. Let Mr. Vincent’s encounter stand as he wrote it.

Australia says NO – Second Time he has done this !
Australia says NO – Second Time he has done this !
AMAZING You must read it !!!!
He’s done it again..
He sure isn’t backing down on his hard line stance and one has to appreciate his belief in the rights of his native countrymen.
A breath of fresh air to see someone lead.
I wish some leaders would step up in Canada & USA .
Australian Prime Minister does it again!!
This man should be appointed King of the World.. Truer words have never been spoken.
It took a lot of courage for this man to speak what he had to say for the world to hear. The retribution could be phenomenal, but at least he was willing to take a stand on his and Australia ‘s beliefs.
Whole world needs a leader like this!
Prime Minister Kevin Rudd – Australia
Muslims who want to live under Islamic Sharia law were told on Wednesday to get out of Australia , as the government targeted radicals in a bid to head off potential terror attacks..
Separately, Rudd angered some Australian Muslims on Wednesday by saying he supported spy agencies monitoring the nation’s mosques. Quote:
‘IMMIGRANTS, NOT AUSTRALIANS, MUST ADAPT.. Take It Or Leave It.
I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we are offending some individual or their culture. Since the terrorist attacks on Bali , we have experienced a surge in patriotism by the majority of Australians. ‘
‘This culture has been developed over two centuries of struggles, trials and victories by millions of men and women who have sought freedom’
‘We speak mainly ENGLISH, not Spanish, Lebanese, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to become part of our society . Learn the
Language!’
‘Most Australians believe in God. This is not some Christian, right wing, political push, but a fact, because Christian men and women, on Christian principles, founded this nation, and this is clearly documented It is certainly appropriate to display it on the walls of our schools. If God offends you, then I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new home, because God is part of our culture.’
‘We will accept your beliefs, and will not question why. All we ask is that you accept ours, and live in harmony and peaceful enjoyment with us.’
‘This is OUR COUNTRY, OUR LAND, and OUR LIFESTYLE, and we will allow you every opportunity to enjoy all this. But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about Our Flag, Our Pledge, Our Christian beliefs, or Our Way of Life, I highly encourage you take advantage of one other great Australian freedom, ‘THE RIGHT TO
LEAVE’.’
‘If you aren’t happy here then LEAVE. We didn’t force you to come here. You asked to be here. So accept the country YOU accepted.’
Maybe if we circulate this amongst ourselves in Canada & USA , WE will find the courage to start speaking and voicing the same truths.
If you agree please SEND THIS ON and ON, to as many people as you know

President, King, Fool or Something Else
- a fleet of 34 warships, including 2 aircraft carriers
- 250 U.S. business executives
- 6 university presidents
- 9 passenger aircraft
- 45 armored limousines
- 30 elite sniffer dogs
- 10,000 or more Indian police and military members
- 1 American president and his family
- 3 days in Mumbai
The cost? Nobody knows for sure, the White House is mum. Some have claimed $200 million per day! Regardless, it’s all on borrowed money. The problem is, nobody will loan the U.S. anymore. So to finance our debt, we buy our own treasuries. That means you and I pay for this trip.
The result? The American people are being taxed an additional $600 billion this week! Yep, by the end of November, today’s dollar will buy 20% less than it does today.
Hmmm…
One interesting thing in the article I noticed from The Daily Mail. Not only is there a vast display of military might that goes before this president… but he is to travel in a secure vehicle named “the beast.” Interesting name, that.
He is the president of the United States, who at times acts foolishly, and then again, like royalty. But then, I can’t help thinking about the name of that car.
Pray for the president, our congress and other officials. Pray first that they are saved, and ask for them to have wisdom, and to use the wisdom in righteousness.

SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN
You all remember Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona , who painted the jail cells pink and made the inmates wear pink prison garb. Well………
SHERIFF JOE IS AT IT AGAIN!
Oh, there’s MUCH more to know
About Sheriff Joe!
Maricopa County was spending approx. $18
Million dollars a year on stray animals, like cats and dogs.
Sheriff Joe offered to take the department over, and the County Supervisors said okay.
The animal shelters are now all staffed and operated by prisoners..
They feed and care for the strays. Every animal in his care is taken out and walked twice daily. He now has prisoners who are experts in animal nutrition and behavior. They give great classes for anyone who’d like to adopt an animal. He has literally taken stray dogs off the street, given them to the care of prisoners, and had them place in dog shows.
The best part? His budget for the entire department is now under
$3 million. Teresa and I adopted a Weimaraner from a Maricopa County shelter two years ago. He was neutered, and current on all shots, in great health, and even had a microchip inserted the day we got him. Cost us $78.
The prisoners get the benefit of about $0.28 an hour for working, but most would work for free, just to be out of their cells for the day. Most of his budget is for utilities, building maintenance, etc. He pays the prisoners out of the fees collected for adopted animals.
I have long wondered when the rest of the country would take a look at the way he runs the jail system, and copy some of his ideas. He has a huge farm, donated to the county years ago, where inmates can work, and they grow most of their own fresh vegetables and food, doing all the work and harvesting by hand. He has a pretty good sized hog farm, which provides meat, and fertilizer. It fertilizes the Christmas tree nursery, where prisoners work, and you can buy a living Christmas tree for $6 – $8 for the Holidays, and plant it later. We have six trees in our yard from the Prison.
Yup, he was reelected last year with 83% of the vote.
Now he’s in trouble with the ACLU again. He
Painted all his buses and vehicles with a mural, that has a special
Hotline phone number painted on it, where you can call and report
Suspected illegal aliens. Immigrations and Customs Enforcement wasn’t doing enough in his eyes, so he had 40 deputies trained specifically for enforcing immigration laws, started up his hotline, and bought 4 new buses just for hauling folks back to the border.. He’s kind of a ‘Git-R Dun’ kind of Sheriff.
TO THOSE OF YOU NOT FAMILIAR WITH JOE ARPAIO
HE IS THE MARICOPA ARIZONA
COUNTY SHERIFF
AND HE KEEPS GETTING ELECTED
OVER AND OVER THIS IS ONE OF THE REASONS WHY:
Sheriff Joe Arpaio (In Arizona ) who created the ‘ Tent City Jail’:
He has jail meals down to 40 cents a serving and charges the inmates for them.
He stopped smoking and porno magazines in the jails. Took away their weights Cut off all but ‘G’ movies.
He started chain gangs so the inmates could do free work on county and city projects.
Then He Started Chain Gangs For
Women So He Wouldn’t Get Sued For Discrimination.
He took away cable TV Until he found out there was A Federal Court Order that Required Cable TV For Jails So He Hooked Up The Cable TV Again Only Let In The Disney Channel And The Weather Channel.
When asked why the weather channel, He Replied, “So They Will Know How Hot It’s Gonna Be While They Are Working On My Chain Gangs.”
He Cut Off Coffee Since It Has Zero Nutritional Value.
When the inmates complained, he told them, ‘This Isn’t The Ritz/Carlton……If You Don’t Like It, Don’t Come Back.’
He bought Newt Gingrich’s lecture series on videotape that he pipes into the jails.
More On The Arizona Sheriff:
With Temperatures Being Even
Hotter Than Usual In Phoenix (116 Degrees Just Set A New Record), the Associated Press Reports:
About 2,000 Inmates Living In A Barbed-Wire-Surrounded Tent Encampment At The Maricopa County Jail Have Been Given Permission To Strip Down To Their Government-Issued Pink Boxer Shorts.
On Wednesday, hundreds of men wearing boxers were either curled up on their bunk beds or chatted in the tents, which reached 138 Degrees Inside The Week Before..
Many Were Also Swathed In Wet, Pink Towels As Sweat Collected On Their Chests And Dripped Down To Their PINK SOCKS.
‘It Feels Like We Are In A Furnace,’ Said James Zanzot, An Inmate Who Has Lived In The TENTS for 1 year. ‘It’s Inhumane.’
Joe Arpaio, the tough-guy sheriff who created the tent city and long ago started making his prisoners wear pink, and eat bologna sandwiches, is not one bit sympathetic. He said Wednesday that he told all of the inmates: ‘It’s 120 Degrees In Iraq And Our Soldiers Are Living In Tents Too, And They Have To Wear Full Battle Gear, But They Didn’t Commit Any Crimes, So Shut Your Mouths!’
Way To Go, Sheriff!
Maybe if all prisons were like this one there would be a lot less crime and/or repeat offenders. Criminals should be punished for their crimes – not live in luxury until it’s time for their parole, only to go out and commit another crime so they can get back in to live on taxpayers money and enjoy things taxpayers can’t afford to have for themselves.

Hey Minnesota, Your Democratic Representative, Betty McCollum Denies God
What is it with our elected representatives?
Why is there such a push to deny the Creator?
In my opinion, if you deny God, you must also irrationally deny absolutes. The United States is soon to be relegated to the pages of history, especially when the country is led by those who deny even the existence of God.
But, our elected officials have long ago denied the authority of God, first in their personal lives, that then influences their public life and decisions in leading the republic.
This is just a symptom and not the problem. The real problem is the authority of God needs to be present in our society. That authority is being attacked. In fact, it has been attacked for more than 100 years. The attack is on God’s word, and whether it can be trusted.
Watch as Betty McCollum, Dem – Minnesota, leads from the floor of the U.S. House in reciting the Pledge of Allegiance. She deletes the words “under God” from the “Pledge of Allegiance.” The representative has said in explanation she was taking a breath. You be the judge, I know what my eyes see.
The authority of God’s word still stands… some verses do not speak well, if applied to our nation.
Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord – Psalm 33:12a
And another…
Blessed are the people whose God is the Lord! – Psalm 144:15b
While these promises do apply to Israel directly, they do in general speak to a principal. One that has guided our founding fathers. They knew Who bestows our individual rights .
But Proverbs 14:34 hammers the principle home. It says:
Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people.
Long has righteousness departed the leadership of this nation. And our national sin is plainly evident. We have slowly removed God from almost every institution of public life. When He is gone… and government becomes God… who will then bestow rights to you?
Don’t count on the government being benevolent… the early 20th century destroys the notion of a benevolent government “god.”
As for those who would deny God… I will leave you with one sobering thought. It is one that must make us shudder with fear. It IS a promise that we can claim, because God will keep it. It is found in Mark 8:34-38, Jesus is speaking.
And calling the crowd to him with his disciples, he said to them, “If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake and the gospel’s will save it. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? For what can a man give in return for his soul? For whoever is ashamed of me and of my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him will the Son of Man also be ashamed when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.”
Paul explains this section well in one sentence in 2 Timothy 2:12. He says, “if we deny him, he also will deny us.”
Good news, though, there is grace available for everyone, including Ms. McCollum. That same Jesus Who we would deny, will accept us just as we are. However, we must first repent and cling to the same God we now deny.
