Catholic Cleric: Jesus Cancelled Biblical ‘Chosen People’
In an article posted here recently, the Catholic Church has once again abandoned God’s chosen. In this very dangerous statement…
The Creator’s promise in the Bible that the Promised Land belongs to the Jewish People is no longer valid.
The Catholic Church has once again affirmed their stance and given tacit blessing to the persecutors of the Jewish people. As I see it, the covenant God made with Abraham was everlasting… in fact, it was a one-way covenant (Genesis 15:17.) This means that God would always keep it, even though man could not!
Furthermore, Genesis 13:14-15 says that the land belongs to Israel forever. This is a promise from God, not law given by Him. As such, Jesus came to fulfill the law, not to NEGATE it! The law is still valid and so are the promises.
As I see it, God is unchanging, and He never goes back on His promises. He might expand them, but His promises are FOREVER. It is easy to understand, even by a superficial reading of the book of Esther, that God does not negate His words.
The American archbishop that stated that the promise of the Creator was “abolished by the presence of Christ” could not be more mistaken. In fact, it is HERESY! Statements such as this show the dearth of knowledge of redemption in Christ present in “the (Catholic) church.”.
Not surprising, the error of replacement theology or supersessionism has been a pariah on Christendom and was foisted upon us by Catholicism. It has led to anti-Semitism. This heresy is very dangerous, and was the probable empowerment to Hitler’s “final solution.”
God most certainly is not finished with His people, Israel. They are being gathered together from the four corners of the Earth to fulfill the grand end of the ages. But sadly, this grand end of the ages, is a judgment on that unrepentant Abrahamic house.
Even more sadly, this anti-Semitic error, purported by what most outside Christendom see as “the church,” is the main stumbling block American Jews have in trusting the true church, and by extension, Jesus Christ. (Perhaps this recent post can shed some light that subject.) The true Christian church is NOT the Catholic Church, and is plainly made evident by this recent proclamation.
It is my prayer that the Catholic Church atones for its error. But, the damage may already be irreparable. Nevertheless, time marches on, Daniel’s 70th week is yet to be fulfilled. Our hope is that our Jewish brothers and sisters see the Jesus, as the Messiah, is the Final Sacrifice.

Are You Awake?
Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.
You know what is happening in the world today. You see the signs all around. Now, Christian, is the time to be sober and vigilant. We know the sign posts that foretold these things.
Watch, be vigilant. Pray for your family and neighbors… it is only when those appointed to be the bride of Christ are fulfilled that the Groom comes to claim His bride. It could happen at any moment, there is no set day.
How will the Master find you?

Intercession about the BP Oil Spill
I have seen little coming from prophetic and intercessory sectors of the Body of Christ about the BP oil spill in the Gulf. I hope it is not indicative of a decline into the conditions depicted in Isaiah 56:10. It is my conviction that churches and Christians throughout America are obligated to intercede about the situation. Without God’s miraculous intervention it has potentials to escalate from the USA’s worst ecological disaster to the worst in human history. Unless the Lord intervenes, our way of life could be greatly altered for the next hundred years.
Intercession about the BP Oil Spill
Father God we humbly come before you asking for mercy. Your gracious intervention is the only solution for the sea life, inland wildlife estuaries and our citizens residing in the Gulf regions of the USA and beyond.
As we do so, we want to remind you of your nature and ways. Lord you are the Greatest of Environmentalists. You make note of the deaths of seemingly insignificant sparrows. (Matt 10:29) It was you, Oh God, who wanted to withhold judgment against wicked Nineveh in the Prophet Jonah’s Day. You expressed concern for its livestock as well as its 120,000 inhabitants. (Jonah 4:11) Lord it was you who commanded ancient Israel to leave the edges of their fields uncultivated in order to provide safe cover and forage for birds and animals. Similarly, you commanded Israel not to make second gleanings of their crops so that food might be available for the poor. (Ex 23:11, Lev 19:9, 23, Deut 22:6)
Lord, you have said of yourself that you do not change. We beseech you to now demonstrate your unchangeable character. Oh God, have mercy and intervene. Exhibit your love for the creatures and plant life of the sea by stopping the leak. Please protect our shores and inland marshes from further damage.
Lord, have mercy on the masses of our citizens that are dependant on the waters and shores of the Gulf for their livelihoods from coming into the grip of poverty. Lord God, please prevent the oil spillage from making its way south on the Gulf Stream around Florida and then north to bring havoc to our Atlantic waters and shores.
Man has predicted terrible storms this season. Such storms could intensify the perils of the oil spill in the Gulf. Father God, you inspired your Son to still storms. You have not changed and Jesus is ever the same. Nullify the north bound flows of any storms originating south of the Gulf. We implore you to divert any East to West, America bound hurricanes to turn north in the Atlantic without making any landfalls in any inhabited locales.
Lord, you are the God of creativity and you inspire the same in man. Let your revelations about how to stop the leak; how to purify the waters; and how to cleanse the inland estuaries come to those whom you inspire.
Oh God, you are the Loving God who miraculously purifies bitter and poisoned waters on behalf of mankind and animals. You did it for Moses and the children of Israel in the wilderness at Marah. (Ex 15:23-26) You did it for Elisha and the Jews of Jericho. (2 Kgs 2:19-22) Moses cast in a piece of tree wood to heal the waters and Elisha threw in salt.
Those instances were under the Old Covenant and we have a better Covenant, established on better promises. (Heb 8:6) Through the atoning death of Jesus on a wooden cross you brought us into your Covenant of Grace. Our responses to others are to be seasoned with the salt of graciousness. (Col 4:6) Let it be so with your response to our intercessions.
Lord, nothing is too difficult for you. Changing water into blood and back again into water was one of your first signs to the Egyptians that you are the God of All. Jesus transformed water into wine to satisfy the needs of a family wedding.
The livelihoods of hundreds of thousands of families and the lives innumerable millions of water creatures and plants are at stake. Oh God, we beseech you to intervene with your mercy. Transform the waters of the Gulf into a purified state for the glory of your name. Do it by giving nautical engineers and scientist clever insights. Do it through a miraculous intervention that all will know came from you. But, please do it. Lord, we will give you honor and praise for doing so.
In Jesus’ name, Amen
If you are in agreement with this prayer, please pass it to those on your email lists.
Be blessed & be a blessing,
Jim Croft

Netanyahu turns to Bible in tussle over Jerusalem
Hmmm… it kind of makes you wonder, but should it. Read the original article here.
Jerusalem is indeed a “cup of trembling” to the entire world, except of course, the United States. We have moved to our side, the wrong one.
May all mighty God bring peace to Jerusalem quickly. It will happen, He has promised…
God has an agenda for the ages and its centerpiece is Jerusalem. There are also some vast irreconcilable differences between Islam and Judaism and/or Christianity. Islam is not a continuation of Christianity or Judaism. It is the religion that will bring shackles to the entire world.
To find out God’s agenda as told by a former PLO terrorist… Wallid Shoebat go here.

From the Lighthouse Blog – Max Lucado joins Covenant for Civility
Danger here!
The bible warns us not to be unequally yoked together with unbelievers. Some signatories to this document reject some essential doctrines of the Christian faith. How then can we agree?
There is a coming winnowing and persecution against the true church from the apostate church.

In Blessing I Will Bless Thee…
The relationship between the U.S. and Israel is strained to say the least. We have a President and majority in Congress that is eager to cram any peace agreement upon an unwilling Israel.
“Let’s cut the family fighting, the family feud,” Lieberman said. “It’s unnecessary; it’s destructive of our shared national interest. It’s time to lower voices, to get over the family feud between the U.S. and Israel. It just doesn’t serve anybody’s interests but our enemies.”
This is a very interesting analogy… and this verse comes to mind – Genesis 12:3. While some may consider it quaint writing, it is not. It is part of a covenant God made with Israel… It was a one way covenant, one He would keep!
But notice the wording, when we bless Israel, we are blessed… and when not, well it is plainly written, no wiggle room!
And there is still talk of divvying up Jerusalem for a peace agreement with the Palestinians (English for Philistines.) Can I show you why this is a bad idea?
Look in Zechariah 12 and especially Zechariah 12:3… we live in THAT day when Jerusalem is a burdensome stone to all nations. Check out the warning: those who would heave it away will surely be cut in pieces.
We really need to seriously consider the recent change in our policies toward Israel and especially Jerusalem. I stand behind Bibi… and while we are on the subject.
Do what Psalm 122:6 says, and reap the blessing in the latter part of the verse!
Shalom! Shalom to Jerusalem!

Prophecy is precise
Everyone likes to talk about the book of “Revelations”, where you see details of the 7 year”tribulation” when “the antichrist” does his thing. The only problem is none of that terminology is right. Over the years prophecy has been talked about by many people who have not really studied it. By that mechanism a lot of imprecise terminology has crept in to the general discussion. In the Bible, God means what he says and says what he means, so it is a good idea to be precise when discussing his word seriously.
The title of the book was “the revelation of Jesus Christ to John.” Just one revelation. The book is about the vision John saw when he was exiled on the island of Patmos. The vision is in two main parts: here on earth as Jesus was talking directly to John and later in heaven as prophecies that were scattered throughout the bible were acted out in the order they would go down, for the most part. The second part breaks naturally into two main parts – before Jesus comes back to earth and after that.
The “later in heaven” part include a seven year period that most people call “the tribulation”. While it is true that Jesus said during the second half of this period “there would be great tribulation”, the whole period of seven years is more precisely known as the “seventieth week of Daniel”. The key to end times prophecy is Daniel 9:24-27
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Know therefore and understand, [that] from the going forth of the commandment to restore and to build Jerusalem unto the Messiah the Prince [shall be] seven weeks, and threescore and two weeks: the street shall be built again, and the wall, even in troublous times.
And after threescore and two weeks shall Messiah be cut off, but not for himself: and the people of the prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary; and the end thereof [shall be] with a flood, and unto the end of the war desolations are determined.
And he shall confirm the covenant with many for one week: and in the midst of the week he shall cause the sacrifice and the oblation to cease, and for the overspreading of abominations he shall make [it] desolate, even until the consummation, and that determined shall be poured upon the desolate.
These four verses give the framework in time that organizes prophecies about Jesus’ ministry. Whole books have been written about these four verses. One of the best was “The Coming Prince” by Sir Robert Anderson. Follow the link to the text of the book for an incredible journey through prophecy. Two important facts that come out in the book are that the Hebrews used the term “week” for more than just seven days. Seven days, weeks, months and years were commonly called a “week”. The other important fact is that God works with years that are 360 days long. You can do a study on weeks in the law when talking about the feasts of Israel, the sabbath year, the year of jubilee, etc. Some physicists, astronomers and computer modelers have shown why the year used to be 360 days and what happened to make it the current 365 1/4 days we have now. I will leave that to you.
In a nutshell, Dan 9:24-27 tells us that from the day the decree was made to rebuild Jerusalem till the death of the messiah would be exactly 69 weeks of 360 day years. After that the Romans would destry the temple and the city and disperse the Jews across the whole world. The dispersion would last for an indeterminate period, but at some point in the future the Jews would be back in the land and a great leader would make a covenant between the Jews and the rest of the world for the jews to live in peace in israel for one week of years. This period is known among scholars and serious bible students as the “seventieth week of Daniel.” In the middle of the week, the one who makes the covenant will break it and set himself up in the temple to be worshipped as god. Other prophecies in Daniel, the other prophets, Psalms, basically throughout the Bible give details that fit into the framework of the weeks of Daniel.
The person who sets up the covenant is known popularly as “the antichrist”, but this term is never used in the Revelation. There are actually two people in the Revelation that play the role of “antichrist”, the Beast and the False Prophet. John uses the term “antichrist” four times in two of his epistles, 1 John and 2 John, but nowhere does he use that term to refer to the beast or the false prophet.
An important thing to remember about the Bible is that it is one book that was written by many people over the course of thousands of years, but it was a skillfully designed document that had one true author, the Holy Spirit. One of the design features was that it was written ” … precept [must be] upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little, [and] there a little” (Is 28:10, Is 28:13) What this means is that there is no one section on any one given subject. This means if any section is cut out, the rest of the bible still conveys the whole message.
The “precept upon precept” message is not even just in one verse. This should show you how much God wants his message to come through to us. That message is that God does not want religion, He wants to have a relationship with us, and he has gone to extraordinary lengths to insure that that relationship is restored.

Science and Religion… are they the same?
For those who are paying attention, have you noticed a pattern lately?
It seems that those cartoons I grew up on, where a certain villain wanted to take over the world, were prognostications. In this case, though, there isn’t any one particular “person” who is doing this.
However, there does seem to be a concerted effort, everywhere, to harness the political will of the world in one entity. And with that, control everything you and I do. I am continually astounded at how fast things are happening.
There are hints appearing daily, and all seem to be small pieces to a larger puzzle. Starting with the engineered recession in 2008, leading to TARP. Then came G-20 and global socialism, followed by single-payer health care, cap and trade, and now climategate. The latest revelation is from a scientist stepping forward declaring a concerted push of what really is a religion. This scientist, a hurricane expert, rips anthropogenic global warming saying, “There has been an unrelenting quarter century of one-sided indoctrination.”
You can also find a push for worldwide population control. Now other countries have joined China’s call for a one child policy! The ultimate goal is controlling every aspect of your life! Perhaps, the boogieman is real, and he is pulling the strings. Your life and your freedom is at stake!
Who is this boogieman? Well, funny thing, in Islam, part of the purification ritual is to rinse your nose out in the morning and before prayer, this is called Ablution. This is because Islam teaches that Satan dwells up in the nose overnight!
Yea, I do believe Satan is real… and I also believe he is the mastermind!
Consider this… Lazy, duped American voters choose ”progressive” politicians because of the promise of goodies from a “benevolent” government. It is fitting, that they choose their own SLAVEMASTERS and willingly indenture themselves! What is more shocking is that they have purchased their own shackles, by supporting progressive environmentalist and animal rights groups with their own hard earned treasure in the name of benevolence.
It is ironic, and perhaps, just. But amidst all of this I am saddened. Saddened, because in this, they have rejected their own freedom. Worse yet, they have willingly and blatantly rejected God’s provision of righteousness for themselves, Jesus! (John 3:16-21)
So I ask… Are you tired of the lies?
Have you reject eternal life all for more leisure and a season to sin?
Did you know… That work is also a gift from God? (Genesis 3:17)
Are you prepared for the certain future of a tyrannical one-world government?
Behold… He says He is coming quickly! (Revelation 3:20; Revelation 16:15; Revelation 22:7,12,20)
Repent, that is change your mind. Reject the lie (Genesis 3:4-5,) that you are your own god. Trust Jesus as your only salvation as you would trust a parachute as Paul says in Romans 3:21-26

Obama Signs Bill Violating ‘Equal Justice Under the Law,’ Critics Say
On Wednesday President Obama signed a bill that includes making it a “hate crime” if a crime is committed against someone of the LGBT persuasion. The hate crimes law was hidden in a defense appropriations bill. Not passing the bill would mean troops would not get paid.
Last year a similar standalone bill was shot down in congress because the congressmen knew they would get de-elected if their constituents heard they voted to pass legislation that 80% of the citizens despise.
I propose legislation making it illegal to hide junk like this in totally unrelated legislation. It will never pass, though, if the sneaky progressives have anything to say about it.
None of this is a surprise. Most elitist intellectuals that run this country deny that God created this world or even exists for that matter. According to Romans 1:18-32 homosexuality is a judgment on a nation that denies the creator. Since Atheism is the official religion of the United States, homosexuality is rampant. Now, under Obama, it is getting to be officially condoned.
I do not support discrimination against or ill treatment of homosexuals or other perverts. God loves them as much as He loves me. Still, I do not support making this perverted “alternative lifestyle” officially condoned and protected by law. I think Obama has poked his finger in God’s eye enough for one presidency and he has not been in a full year yet. Will we have a country left when it comes time to vote him out?
