I have a hang up…

January 8th, 2011

Some of my friends wonder why I am so hung up on the creative work of God, rather than talking about grace and the fact that He saved us from our sins.

The fact is God reveals himself a little bite at a time. If you cannot get past the fact that this universe was created by God, you could not care less that he died for your sin. If God did not create this universe, if in fact their is no God required to explain why we exist, why should you believe that you have any sin that would offend a righteous God that does not exist in the first place.

Our entire culture is inundated with propaganda aimed at convincing people that evolution is a proven scientific fact. Nothing could be farther from the truth.  The evidence that the universe was designed is overwhelming. The media loves to ridicule people of faith. They call it “blind faith”, all the while conforming to the consensus view that there is nothing besides the natural universe. Science used to be a search for a true view of how things work.

Today, the scientific view is focused on finding a completely naturalistic explanation for everything. People in the scientific community are shunned or even fired if they do not toe the line of naturalism. Every now and then someone says something like “it almost appears to have been designed…” but then they start with the fancy footwork and back away form that statement. If the founder of Scientific American was alive today and writing, his own magazine would not publish his work. Because he believed in a creator.

Scientists have a for years clung to the “fact” that the speed of light was a constant. Twenty years ago Barry Setterfield and Trevor Norman tried to publish research that showed that the speed is light is slowing down. They were almost published but the publisher found out they believed in a creator and pulled the paper. For years they tried to get their views published and examined by their peers. Nada. Zip.

Curiously, twenty years after they tried to publish, scientists that are not tainted with the odious smell of “blind faith” are publishing papers saying the speed of light is slowing. Do any of these scientists have the class to give Setterfield and Norman any citations for earlier work? Nada. Zip.

I could go into a discussion about how other “constants”, like the fine structure constant, alpha, has been suspected of changing. How String theory says that the universe is actually composed of ten or more dimensions, only four of which we can actually sense and measure.  How length, time, energy, everything, come in packages of  a minimum size. How if something is smaller than that size it loses “locality” and becomes everywhere at once. Read “Inconstant Constants” (Scientific American, June 2005) for your self. They conclude that this universe is just a “shadow of a much larger reality”.  Really? The bible has been saying that all along.

Bishop Paley, around 100 years ago, had an argument that anyone could look at his watch and know that it was designed, could not designed that the hand that carried the watch was much more complex and had to be designed as well. His detractors replied that this argument only applied if living organisms were in fact machines. 100 years of microbiology and other research have shown that in fact living cells are machines composed of millions of intricately arranged atoms. Bishop Paley wins, evolution loses.

Don’t take my word for it. Don’t take your teacher’s word for it either. Investigate for yourself. Find out how bankrupt the religion of evolution is for yourself. Then taste God and see how delightful he is. If you can get past the first hurdle of truth, God will give you some more truth.

Science Discovers Global Warming Causes Global Cooling

November 16th, 2010

*Snicker*

For those new to the “debate,” oops! My bad! I forgot… the debate is over! After all, consensus science says so.

Anyway, when science has a consensus on anything, the effects can be dangerous (see Eugenics.) Man made global warming is now the new global cooling.

The good thing about science is the same as what is said about the weather in Florida. If you do not like it, stick around for 5 minutes or so and it will change!

It Takes a Long Time to Starve a Severely Disabled Infant to Death by Withdrawing Medically-Supplied Nutrition

October 24th, 2010

Who thinks of such barbarity?

This is utterly disgusting that an experiment like this would be carried out! It is even worse to change the name of basic human sustenance to nutrition and hydration.

This is just one step closer to Hitler’s ovens and the practice of eugenics to cleanse the population of those deemed undesirable.

Please remember, you ARE considered undesirable to someone else, we all are. But be very wary when someone can decide and act on who is deemed undesirable.

Consider some questions when you read things like this…

When did we consider food and water a medical treatment just because it has to be delivered by a tube?

Who decides when to stop this “medical treatment?”

Are we really that base?

Is this real science?

Is this HUMANE? (What I mean is do you “compassionately” starve animals to death?)

What has happened to humanity… are we really getting better as evolution requires?

Infanticide, the Dark Solution to Child Suffering

October 7th, 2010

Here is advice columnist Virgina Ironside’s solution to child suffering. (Warning, this will shock most decent, God fearing people)

Listen closely, Miss Ironside said”

“And I think that if I were a mother of a suffering child, I would be the first to want I mean a deeply suffering child I would be the first one to put a pillow over its head.”

I might… might be able to understand a mother’s compassion for her own child, however, it would still be murder. But she continues:

“I would with any suffering thing and I think the difference is that my feeling of horror suffering is many greater than my feeling of getting rid of a couple of cells because suffering can go on for years.”

Besides the genuine dark, evil thought… a child is now considered a THING and just a clump of cells?

Is she talking abortion or infanticide?

Regardless, this is the invalidity of ANY argument for abortion. It is murder plain and simple. The only acceptable magic moment when the egg and sperm become human is at conception. Any other definition is arbitrary and unsupportable.

But as with the craze of late nineteenth century and elite society’s push to throw off the so-called shackles of God, they have embraced the lie. The lie brought us erroneous geology. From that erroneous geology, Darwin created his theory on the origins of man.

From Darwin’s work, science birthed eugenics, in an effort to hurry the “evolution” of the race by helping natural selection. And from eugenics we get the likes of Margaret Sanger and Adolf Hitler. Even Karl Marx became an avid adherent to Darwin’s theory.

Besides the subtle hints of overt racism that connect these, one cannot deny the evil that may be rooted in just such an idea. What I am saying, if man did truly descend from monkeys, than he is nothing more noble than any other animal. But that idea defies our innate knowledge!

Such a nice old lady, saying some disgustingly evil things. It sounds familiar…

“He said to the woman, “Did God actually say, ‘You shall not eat of any tree in the garden’?” (2) And the woman said to the serpent, “We may eat of the fruit of the trees in the garden, (3) but God said, ‘You shall not eat of the fruit of the tree that is in the midst of the garden, neither shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ” (Genesis 3:1-3)

Christian, and for that matter, human… WATCH OUT! There is an embodiment of evil. His favorite lure is subtlety… slowly poisoning you until it is too late!

But the serpent said to the woman, “You will not surely die. (5) For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.” (Genesis 3:4-5)

We are not, nor can we ever be gods, or be like gods. Miss Ironside is under severe delusion.

Ervin Laszlo: When Stephen Hawking Speaks About God, Don’t Mistake Him for a Scientist

September 26th, 2010

It seems as if the God deniers are beginning to understand the ramifications of the latest offering, “A Grand Design,” from Steven Hawking. There are some who to push themselves far, far away from Mr. Hawking.

So far, in everything that I have read, all science ontology eventually leads to “something came from nothing!” Yet, curiously, in this article at HuffPo, Mr. Laszlo declares his own faith. Consider his statement:

“Scientists cannot say whether we "need" a God to explain the way the world is; all they can say is that science (and here mostly they mean physics) can (although so far it hasn’t) find equations that account for all the laws of nature.”

That, I think is a statement made in blind faith, especially in light of the fact that Mr. Hawking is considered to be one of the foremost physicists, cosmologists and mathematicians alive today. It is obvious, considering the findings in his latest book, that Mr. Hawking cannot agree with Mr. Laszlo’s declaration of faith!

Why Evolution Cannot be True

September 24th, 2010

This is a response to Dan Kuik‘s comment posted to the article Is there any hope for this generation?

I shall try to explain this the best way I can. To some it may be very difficult indeed to hear. I know there are a lot of committed Christians who are scientists, and I praise God for them. It is truly a difficult field to be called into. These scientists are not idiots, however, they may very well be deceived.

As Christians, we are not against science, either. However there are some “sciences” that are truly exist in a gray area between philosophy and science. They are mistakenly accepted as true empirical science, but are not directly observable. Among these are psychology, sociology, and evolution. These fields of research lend themselves to grand theories based on an incorrect philosophy. These philosophies are grounded in stories that may have some truth within them. But regardless of the content of some truth they are still, nevertheless, stories.

The field of science truly endeavors to make sense of creation. Yet, what began as an innocent desire by humanity to understand who we are, it has now gone awry.

That desire to understand, as innocent as it began, has given birth to delusion. This delusion is now being used to deceive people, giving them a convenient excuse to deny God and live their lives as they see fit. It infects them with the irrationality that all truth is relative. Regardless, many trod down that wide path.

This practice, unstopped, leads to destruction and sadly, death. It is this innocent desire that births delusion, then deception, in turn becoming destruction, and finally death. It is the basis for all sin.

First off, let’s establish some things 2 Timothy 3:16 says that all scripture is breathed out by God and is profitable for teaching, reproof, correction and training in righteousness. I will use scripture alone. It is the essence of instruction from a holy God.

Second, I contend that the days we live in are indeed the last days, the signs are plentiful. For my reference, I will use 2 Timothy 3:1-5.

“But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. (2) For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, (3) heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, (4) treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, (5) having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. Avoid such people.

Paul goes on to say that such people are “always learning and never able to arrive at a knowledge of the truth.” (2 Timothy 3:7) This is because when using an incorrect philosophy as a basis, one cannot do true science. To begin with one that excludes the very Author and Creator of life will always belie the same!

One must be on guard for this delusion. Jesus Himself said “See that no one leads you astray.” (Matthew 24:4) But one strong warning comes in 1 Timothy 4:1, Paul says “in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons.” In fact Jesus, in Matthew 24:24, says the deception will be so strong “so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.” Those are some strong warnings!

But we must, as watchmen, stand on the wall and warn others. It is not our intention to “pit God against evolution.” Simply for the fact that the converse is already true, evolution has pitted itself against God. I would dare say it exalts itself against the very throne of the Most High.

Satan’s favorite tool is deception, in fact, he is called the deceiver. He also disguises himself as an angel of light, as Paul warns us in 2 Corinthians 11:14 “And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light.”

But as with every deception of the enemy, he loves to use it coupled with truth. But a lie, no matter how small, coupled with a truth, no matter how great, is still but a lie. Paul warns us of this by saying a little leaven leavens the whole lump. (1 Corinthians 5:6)

Through subtle deception, evolution exalts itself against some of the very foundational doctrines of the faith. I contend that evolution CANNOT be true in the light of God’s word.

There are too many to go through in a post such as this, so I will choose one.

If, as is posited by Dan, God “used” evolution JUST to create a man, that means that millions of creatures would have had to die before there was even the first man. This means that evolution must establish that man exists as a result of millions of years of death!

But, my Bible teaches me something entirely different. It tells me that man was created by the will of God from the dust of the ground. It tells me that man was created good. It also tells me in Romans 5:12 that death is the result of man’s sin! In fact, because of that first man’s sin, we all inherited that propensity.

So as I see it, man’s wisdom teaches that death brought man, but God says man brought death!

Those two ideas cannot coexist!

Therefore, evolution, as purported, cannot be true. We would have to deny sin, which brings us back to the deception. 1 John 1:8 ” If we say we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.”

Sin hardens by deceit… Hebrews 3:13. Scoffers are here and they plainly mock Christianity… 2 Peter 3:2-6. Unrighteous people suppress the truth… Romans 1:18.

We need to stand firm… 2 Thessalonians 2:15.

It is not that “Human beings have no less purpose in life,” but that One human’s purpose is then not necessary (John 3:14-17.)

When we read the bible, the warnings are plentiful. Jesus’ words in Matthew 7:21-23 are indeed truly sad. This is an admonition to examine ourselves regularly, and against the very word of God, to identify and deal with that deception. Lest we find ourselves standing in His very presence hearing those fateful words… depart from me.

Stephen Hawking: Abandon the Earth

August 9th, 2010

Stephen Hawking in Abandon the Earth says…

“It will be difficult enough to avoid disaster on planet Earth in the next hundred years,”

Yessirree… I will almost say it will be darn near impossible! We can both agree this, however, the particulars of the cause and solution are very different.

My outlook is taken from yet future events as they are recorded in the books of Daniel and the book of the Revelation. In these, is written a detailed description of coming events in a future time of great tribulation on Earth. It was also spoken of by Jesus, at length, in Matthew 13. It will be terrible to behold, let alone live through.

The escape, though, will not be on space ships… it will be a call by Jesus Himself!
