Hmmm… is church where you go to learn about Jesus and what He has done for you?
I didn’t know it was supposed to be about kingdom concept, vision and strategy.
Where does Jesus fit into this?

Thank God for Tullian Tchividjian! His experience has taught me so much,
Even though I do not attend his church, mine is about 2 miles or so away. I have met Tullian once or twice. His experience with the gospel has been the impetus for my growth of late.
I agree… whatever reprehensible thing someone has done to you is not unforgiveable… if you preach the gospel to yourself everyday!Print This Post Filed under CloserToGod | Tags: God, gospel | Comments Off on What To Preach To Yourself Everyday
Be careful… it is highly worthy satire!
Exclusive: In an exciting example of scholarly cross-collaboration and interdisciplinary research, textual critics and archaeologists have just published a translation of a recently discovered first-century letter, apparently authentic, written to the Apostle Paul himself. Scholars believe it was likely written in the late AD 40s or early 50s. The parchment was remarkably well preserved in a jar buried in a cave on the island of Satiricus. It is surmised that the author of the letter, Parodios, was an elder who had met Paul on one of his missionary journeys.

Here is an email i got recently. I signed the petition and believe it would be good if you signed it as well.
You have seen the quotes on this site, like “Pray for the peace of Jerusalem
Psa 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.”
Not to mention “Bless the Jews and be Blessed, again
Gen 22:15 And the angel of the LORD called unto Abraham out of heaven the second time,
Gen 22:16 And said, By myself have I sworn, saith the LORD, for because thou hast done this thing, and hast not withheld thy son, thine only [son]:
Gen 22:17 That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which [is] upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;
Gen 22:18 And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.”
Stand with the apple of God’s eye, stand with Israel
It’s getting worse.
Unrest and chaos in the Middle East continue. They threaten to spread to other Arab countries.
At real risk? Our most cherished ally, the nation of Israel.
Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said, “An earthquake is shaking the whole Arab world and a large part of the Muslim world, and we don’t yet know how these things will turn out.”
There is growing pressure from many countries in that region, spearheaded by the Palestinian Authority, to continue to seek United Nations’ action condemning Israel. And now, the U.S. is criticizing an Israeli building project, calling it ”illegitimate.”
It’s time for the United States and President Obama to step into the picture….
I have just signed the ACLJ’s DECLARATION OF SOLIDARITY WITH ISRAEL, and I urge you to do the same.
Once you’ve done so, be sure to use the online forward-to-friend tool to invite others to sign it as well.
Any threat against Israel is a threat to freedom – and freedom attacked anywhere is freedom attacked everywhere. We must form a united front and stand in support of Israel and their fight for freedom at a time when the prospect of a Middle East peace is on the verge of being shattered.
Show your support for the nation of Israel and encourage this crucial move of solidarity by the United States. Declare your membership today with the ACLJ by signing our Declaration of Solidarity with Israel.
