Florida Minister Determined to Hold 9/11 Quran Burn
I understand what Pastor Terry Jones is trying to do. He is trying to waken people to the clear and present danger that Islam presents. However, in the vehicle chosen may do so, but shall surely cause offense to Christ.
Whether the church burns the Qur’an or not, they will still come for us, the infidel. America is the great Satan, the (used to be)friend of Israel. Terrorists will clamor to destroy anything American including killing us.
I think the book is anti-Christ, and full of lies. After all Allah is called the best of deceivers, by the Qur’an itself. I know who the father of lies is, John 8:44 is certainly clear on that.
Contrast this to the God of the bible, Who cannot lie (Titus 1:2.) In fact, it is impossible for Him to lie (Hebrews 6:8.)
There is no question that the capricious god of the Qur’an is not and cannot be the same unchangeable God of the bible.
BUT…
I think that this pastor is wrong on burning the Qur’an as a public spectacle. You may ask, why?
The good news of salvation in Jesus is offensive enough. It requires us to look at ourselves in the light of truth. We know that what we have done our entire lives is laid open before God. If it is separated into two piles labeled good and bad, the bad pile is remarkably larger. This is the offense, we cannot DO anything to please God.
So I say no to Qur’an burning simply to not bring any undue hardship and disdain. Let us be resolved to not add offense to the offense of the gospel. Be resolved to apply 1 Corinthians 10:18-31 to our lives.
Remembering, 1 Corinthians 10:31-33, in whatever you do, do all to the glory of God! Live lives that glorify God, that alone shall bring offense.

Pastor Terry Jones has cancelled his Qur’an burning. Praise God for that decision. Now for the offense he caused… will he repent?
Only time will tell! And I shall leave the matter between God and Pastor Jones.

Is it any wonder?
We have been lied to for years…. now it is worse than ever.
I quit my local newspaper… I did not want to PAY for them to insult me by disdain for Christianity. I still find it difficult to shell out the money for the Sunday edition.
Check out the numbers, they are not good. But guess what, they will get a government bailout, too.

School Group Told Not To Pray On U. S. Supreme Court Steps
Another story that shows the mettle of our Next Greatest Generation.
This reprehensible act occurred earlier this year in May. A small school group bowed their heads to say a prayer on the steps of the U.S. Supreme Court. They were approached by a police officer and told…
“Ma’am, I’m not going to tell you that you can’t pray, but you can’t do it here,” he said, according to Mrs. Rigo. “Please go somewhere else.”
Is this not chilling?
The First Amendment is almost completely done in. Once the newspapers are bailed out, where will you get your news?

2 Months After Students Silenced, Crack NBC Washington Bureau Breaks the Story
2 months after some of our Next Greatest Generation were caught in an act of alleged “civil disobedience,” NBC got the scoop!
Sadly, why is singing the U.S. National Anthem a demonstration? Furthermore, why are there “completely content neutral” areas in any U.S. National Park? And then that begs a really OBVIOUS question… isn’t that oxymoronic?
But then the journalist, probably a college graduate, is most likely a moral relativist, and may not understand the issues involved.
Sigh! There is no such thing as a free press in corporate-controlled newsrooms. Truth is what the state says is true, when it says it is true.

On Education Standards
This was an interesting read. I understand the slant of the New York Times, anything liberal is very good, but conservative ideas are shocking and abnormal.
The article seems to carry its intended slant toward dialectic.
The conservatives on the Texas Board of Education seem to be adding balance. Some ideas, like eschewing Thomas Jefferson and Latinos in history are just wrong.
However, it is the liberals who are on the wrong side on McCarthy, the origin of man, the Founding Fathers and especially, separation of church and state.
If you tell a lie long enough, people will believe it! We have been taught the separation of church and state protects the government from religion! It does not, it protects the church from intrusion by the government, read what it says in the first right in the first amendment
“Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof”
You see, if they can weaken or change this basic right, all of the others can be modified to fit the needs of the state, also!
Our founding fathers were very smart, and they knew the Author of our rights was not any man, nor any institution established by man. Our rights are established by God Himself and cannot be taken from us.
It is the goal of the various “isms” vaunted about today to establish a secular government. One that does not recognize God, yet places government in that role. This was the exact opposite goal of the founders.
We are now reaping the fruits of progressivism foisted upon us in a public education system established by John Dewey. These fruits, although appearing beautiful and seemingly harmless, were designed to poison us over time.
Little by little, the ideas of Marx and other socialists, have been gobbled up by Americans in small pieces. They are offered to us under the names of psychology, sociology, evolution and economics. But now, when we find ourselves increasingly burdened by the shackles imposed upon us by these ideas, we yearn for liberty.
It is high time we throw out evil in all of its forms. We must start with the so-called experts who would readily have us shackled in irons under the guise of democracy. Democracy is NOT liberty. Liberty comes from God, Who transcends time and space!
The evil that hides behind a cloak of democracy, is the same evil that established itself in the mind of man in Genesis 3:4-5. It is evil to place the created thing on the throne of God.
Marxism, communism and socialism all place government as god. If then, your rights are established by this god, they can also be removed by this god. These “isms” use code words, one of the easiest to spot is democracy. Democracy is the tyranny of the majority. Democracy is the enemy of liberty.
There is one political party in the United States that has historically been on the wrong side of every moral issue. They have covered their lack of morality with platitudes designed to make all feel good. All the while, removing, in little bits, the very liberty given to you by your Creator.
Choose carefully, those you would have in authority over you. Do they intend to use that authority in service, or for servitude?
