The Inerrancy of Scripture
Albert Mohler sums writes on his now 60 year stance on the inerrancy of scripture. He says…
“[W]hen you encounter a present-day view of Holy Scripture, you encounter more than a view of Scripture. What you meet is a total view of God and the world, that is, a total theology, which is both an ontology, declaring what there is, and an epistemology, stating how we know what there is. This is necessarily so, for a theology is a seamless robe, a circle within which everything links up with everything else through its common grounding in God.”
You see, it is this “grounding” in God that sticks everything. If your morality is not grounded, it becomes subject to relativity. God is unchangeable. He is the uncaused. He is eternal, holy, good, just and righteous… just to start.
The bible, to me is an amazing document. It has withstood almost 2,000 years of naysayers… yet eventually, disproves them all.
So, when you compare yourself to the standard declared in just the ten commandments, how do you stack up?
I know I don’t! BUT… I thank God for a Savior Who could AND DID, thereby covering me and anyone else who places their faith in that fact!

Stephen Hawking: Abandon the Earth
Stephen Hawking in Abandon the Earth says…
“It will be difficult enough to avoid disaster on planet Earth in the next hundred years,”
Yessirree… I will almost say it will be darn near impossible! We can both agree this, however, the particulars of the cause and solution are very different.
My outlook is taken from yet future events as they are recorded in the books of Daniel and the book of the Revelation. In these, is written a detailed description of coming events in a future time of great tribulation on Earth. It was also spoken of by Jesus, at length, in Matthew 13. It will be terrible to behold, let alone live through.
The escape, though, will not be on space ships… it will be a call by Jesus Himself!

Peace!
It is NOT THE PEOPLE I judge, but the symbol.
Like words, they have meanings, sometimes many different meanings throughout time.
But what I do know, in light of 1 John 4:1-6, we are to test the spirits. Danger lurks everywhere… while I do trust in God, it is that foothold that the enemy may get that concerns me. 1 Corinthians 5:6 also tells us to be very wary of even a little bit of leaven; I know as Christians, we are forgiven… past, present and future, but could this not be used as an entryway for something besetting?
With this seeming occult background, we must flee! Pease consider 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, things may not be what they seem at first encounter, and this only reinforces what 1 John 4 says.
Consider the “accepted” us of the peace sign in the 1960s. It was used to protested nuclear weapons, mock western culture and Christian values. It was called the symbol of a new age of global peace and earth-centered unity. This sounds very familiar… like Gaia worship with the tacit understatement of ecumism. It is more evidence of the unworkable futility of sincrety, and the subtle attack of the enemy to delude believers.
What is the word we use today to describe those who mock and would do away with “western culture?” It is none other than multiculturalism. The usage of the symbol declared fornication, drug use and rebellion were all right!
It is said the peace sign was created by request of Lord Bertrand Russell. He headed the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. His political views mimic those of the progressives of today, including the covert anti-Semitism that flows unfettered within the ranks of the that movement. He was also a Fabian socialist, those who prefer socialism by evolution, not revolution. The Fabians are now members of Britain’s current Labor party, you know from whence former Prime Minister Tony Blair serves. He is currently working to apostate Christianity, and to reconcile all the religions of the world through the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.
Upon this testing, I see nothing good, or quite frankly, even innocuous with the symbol or its use… however, it is to the dubious, recurring, anti-Christ usage I am drawn. Anti-Christ is not to be confused with a (or the) person, just a description of something against Christ. So the water may still remain murky on this, however I will err on the side Ephesians 5:11-12 says I must.
Compellingly, I must also take into account tho
se new-fangled bumper stickers, you know, the ones that spell “Coexist” with symbols. It is tacitly implied that all those symbols are something vastly different than the others, comparatively. It begs the question, why is the cross and the peace sign (or any of the other symbols) juxtaposed?
This screams that the peace sign is somehow incompatible with Christianity!
What do you make of this one?
Still not convinced? Regardless of who, how or why it was created… this peace sign has ALWAYS been a symbol of rebellion! I leave one more passage for you found in 1 Samuel 15:22-23 “So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”

Rewriting History “With God On Our Side”
This is ripe! There is a growing group of those wolves who hide under sheepskins. These wolves would have you believe another gospel, that of the progressive political culture. It is a gospel of utopia on Earth, using words you are familiar with, including hope, justice, redemption, conversion, love, peace and reconciliation. This is just another one of those instances of sincrety… like all become a means to a sinister end. But you are the bad guy, bearing the epithet ZIONIST, albeit modified by the word of blessing, Christian.
The chosen vehicle to try to delude you, is a new movie called “With God on Our Side.” The object of the movie, is to get you to agree with a different version of the history of the middle east and the origins of the tensions in the region. This goes hand-in-hand with that whole new gospel of progressive Utopia.
Open wide! The director of With God On Our Side would have you believe certain things. Let us examine his claims.
The first is “(t)o look at the consequences Christian Zionism has on the local people in the Middle East, especially the Palestinians, who are most directly influenced by Christian political support for the State of Israel and it’s policies, which are then defended using the Bible.” The problem is not with the Palestinians per se, but they have been used as pawns by the Muslims. When Palestine was partitioned, the Palestinians were offered their own country. Under the influence of Muslims, they cajoled the Palestinians to refuse the offer, since they were going to attack the new state of Israel.
The second is “(w)e believe there is an alternative approach to Christian Zionism. An approach that sees both Jews and Palestinians as equal in God’s sight and one that promotes reconciliation, justice and peace.” Here lies the whole crux of the problem, there is no other way. Recent history has proven it. How do you negotiate with an enemy who desires your total destruction, period?
There will be peace, one day… it will be short-lived. You can deny the eschatology and make of the middle east what you will, the main problem will always be the existence of the state of Israel. Furthermore, the statement that Jews and Palestinians are equal in God’s sight is both true and false. It is true that the individuals are equal, however, as a people, the Jews are chosen and set aside for God alone!
And the kicker is “Some of the most tragic events in history have occurred from a bad interpretation of biblical texts and understanding of who God is.” Yep, One of His names is Israel!
“Any approach to the Middle East must be one that sees the needs of all people, not just one, because at the heart of who God is, is a God of love who commands us to love one another, whether that be our neighbor or someone we consider our enemy.” Wow… I love being lectured about love by someone who does not know God. He also is a God of promises… you might want to check a few of them out, they were made to Israel as a people, and they are eternal!
Call me a Zionist, I can handle that. But peddling your progressive, communistic utopia on Earth in place of the true hope of the Christian is abominable. The true hope of the Christian is summed up clearly by Paul… “we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.”
Besides, think of the most profuse users of the epithet ZIONIST… I’ll give you a clue, it is the followers of a certain religion. Stay away… do not waste your money to further the destruction of Israel, do not go see “With God On Our Side.”

My Eternal Hero, He Willingly Shed His Own Blood for my Life! The Impostor of the Twilight Saga Does not Compare!
There are six things that the Lord hates,
seven that are an abomination to him:
haughty eyes, a lying tongue,
and hands that shed innocent blood,
a heart that devises wicked plans,
feet that make haste to run to evil,
a false witness who breathes out lies,
and one who sows discord among brothers
(Proverbs 6:16-19)
There is much ado about the movie Eclipse, from the Twilight Saga by the author Stephenie Meyer. There are many adolescent girls caught up in the romance of a 110 year-old vampire, who forever looks like a teenager, and a well-mannered one at that. That is, if you can excuse the lust for the heroine’s blood. Any normal teenage girl, presented with this difference in age, should automatically say “Ewww, pervert!” And so should her parents! But how can you say ANYTHING, when you are caught up in this too!
Let me just say, I myself, am guilty of the abominations listed above, however, by the grace of God… and the blood of my eternal Hero, Who took that penalty upon Himself. That is MY HERO… He gave His blood as a covering for us all, as opposed to Edward, who would take and sup on the life-blood of another by force! Here is what is written about that in Leviticus 17:11, “For the life of the flesh is in the blood.” And before that, in Leviticus 17:10, God says “I will set my face against that person who eats blood and will cut him off from among his people.”
I know! I know its fiction! I hear the refrains ‘relax it is only a movie!’ ‘There’s a lot of good stuff in it.’ There are character lessons here.’ But can I pose something to you?
Not so Good
Say there is a fast-food restaurant that sells hamburgers and French fries that are every bit as tasty as your favorite. However, this restaurant only uses the highest-quality, organic ingredients to make its food. The cost is generally 20% less than any other chain for a similar meal.
Would you eat there?
Durn tootin’ you would! But, I forgot to tell you, the salt they use is laced with a little arsenic. It won’t hurt you, really! It is just a little bit, not fatal, and you won’t even taste it because the other food is so good!
Would you still be willing to spend your hard earned money to eat there and knowingly poison yourself?
Purposefully paying to attend a movie that enshrines occultism is worse, it can have eternal consequences!
Yeah, I’ve heard all the familiar Laodicean apologizers that so infest the church, spouting wishy-washy poppycock as they pontificate on pop-CULTure! (Those first four letters of that word are scary!) Jesus had an answer for that in Matthew 7:13-14. He said “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.” Let’s get one thing straight… if it is popular, it is probably suspect.
Again, I know it is fiction… but I seriously doubt that anyone has obsessed the same way over Jesus! Run away, Christian, run away!
Love Lessons
Let us reason about those love lessons as they compare to the biblical model set forth in 1 Corinthians 13:5-7.
“Love is patient and kind;” – But is blood lust?
“love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude.” — Why presume to enter uninvited into any teenager’s room, especially without parental permission?
“It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth.” — As opposed to what Edward says “”I’m a killer; I’ve killed before; and I wanted to kill you.”
“Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.”–Is this the love in the story, or is it something else?
That is Edward’s love for Bella! How dark and selfish it is compared to the standard. Yet he has a difficult time restraining himself from the deep craving for the scent of Bella’s blood! Where is the love in that?
The saga’s heroine, Bella, decides she wants to risk the possibility of losing her soul by becoming a vampire, only to be with the vampire she loves. That is a picture of love I cannot fathom, since there is no profit in that. Our souls are lost by default in Adam’s sin. The bible is clear, in Ezekiel 18:4 is written, “the soul who sins shall die.” It is only through faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ and His shed blood that our souls are eternally secure as is clear in Hebrews 9:11-15. This needs to be the obsession in our homes… not the age old subtle trickery from the angel of light.
Spiritual Danger
Again, using a Biblical model set forth in Mark 8:36. Jesus, speaking clearly on very real spiritual dangers, asks, “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul?”
What passes for biblically literacy in the adults who bear the name of Christ is telling in our sincretic society. We try to reconcile things that do not go well together, because we do not take seriously the theological teachings of Jesus Christ and His apostles. The ones who suffer are our teenagers, when they leave home for college. They are easily swayed by professors who, by virtue of their degrees, declare themselves as arbitrators of what is real. They haughtily declare “Whatever your parents taught you is wrong!” How can a young person not capitulate when their parents are not sincere in their faith?
It is this slow, subtlety that is the enemies favorite ploy. He can mimic beauty, and often does. After all, he does have dominion, for awhile. But it is those captives who are led away unawares that really bother me. How many young people will be carried away into occultism and forever lost because of a movie like this?
How do we overcome this shame by participating?
I challenge you, “and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord.” (Ephesians 5:10) First read 1 Corinthians 10:20-21, and then 2 Corinthians 11:12-15. Check out the author of the series, Stephenie Meyer, and the dark way the ideas for the books were delivered to her. And remember Paul’s admonition in the rest of that Ephesians 5 passage…“Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them. For it is shameful even to speak of the things that they do in secret.” (Ephesians 5:11-12)

The Danger of Sincrety
Today, many are given to this air of reconciliation. Political apologists would have you believe it is centrism or really, being moderate or better, progressive, somewhere between the political extremes of liberalism and conservatism. The real essence of the problem, is that capitalism without morality tends to the anarchy of lust and greed. This is dangerous enough, having liberty requires exercising self-discipline and responsibility. They call it the Third Way. The Third Way is sincrety, simply stated, trying to unite two irreconcilable things. These irreconcilable things are not what they would have you believe, let me explain.
As a society we are encourage to forget God. In so doing we have driven morality out of our schools, our homes, our entertainment and even our government. In return, there is a lack of self-control (Galatians 5:22-23) and personal responsibility, lawlessness grows. Consequently, this requires more of an external control and temperance, usually in the form of government.
This governmental control attempts to dictate morality and communal behavioral standards that apply to institutions and individuals alike. As personal self-control wanes, the reigns of government control must become tighter. This is the tipping the other end of the scale, and the centralized, command-and-control tyrannies of socialism, communism and Marxism. This type of government become dangerous because morality is rooted in the heart of the individual by God and is exercised in relationship to and knowledge of God. When the individual forgets God, and his responsibility to God, and the government then has to dictate morality, it becomes the arbiter of morality, deciding what is right and what is wrong. This is extremely dangerous.
The genius of our founding fathers, was finding a middle ground between these two extemes of anarchy and tyranny. One where the morality of the individual was recognized as God given. And with that personal morality, came sovereignty. This sovereignty required liberty, such that came from God and the government could not take away! They established a ance of power in governmental structure and prohibited the government from infringement on individual rights. This form of government recognized that sovereignty is bestowed upon the individual and not the government!
In the history of the world, this had not been done. As most governments place sovereignty in a person or particular group of rulers, not so in the United States.
The Third Way is not some reconciliation between partisan political extremes, but it is a way to reconcile these two forms of sovereignty. One that requires the individual to cede his control to that of another, transferring sovereignty to the government. Eventually, the government will be the arbiter of freedom, providing the individual with choices. This is just another version of the lie… the one Satan told in the Garden of Eden in Genesis 3:1-7. In essence, he took the freedom Eve had to eat of every tree of the garden, and gave her choices; she could remain as she was, or she could be like God.
Look around, we see it everywhere… corporations are bad, yet they pay our wages. Government is good, yet it dips its hand in your pocket to steal your sweat. Becoming a parasite on government largess is good, working hard to provide for your family is not.
Marriage is seen as a restrictive covenant, not as to only benefit the furtherance of a society through procreation. But its very essence must be bended and twisted to satisfy individual whims of indulgence, relegating the ability of marriage as the primary vehicle to sustain society to obscurity. Eventually, that very society shall end up on the refuse heap of history. (That can be the only logical conclusion!)
This sincrety can be non-sensical , as in the claim that carbon-dioxide is a pollutant, when it is necessary for plants to grow and thrive.
Oftentimes it is subtle, as when we are told pregnancy is not always a human carrying another individual human being. Instead we are asked to believe it is really a lump of tissue, or worse, a parasite! We know, without the benefit of science it is another INDIVIDUAL human being.
The problem with sincrety, is the same as Paul asked in 1 Corinthians 5:6 “Do you not know that a little leaven leavens the whole lump?”
Think about it, we let a little error cloud our thought processes, will the preponderance of right thinking win out, or will that little bit of error, pollute all of our thinking?
The battle for control of the church has begun… the weapon of choice is SINCRETY! It is even predicted by John in Revelation 3:15-16, Jesus is speaking and says of the church of Laodicea “‘I know your works: you are neither cold nor hot. Would that you were either cold or hot! So, because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth.”
Is this not a warning from the Savior Himself to be very wary about coupling irreconcilable things?
Why do we accept Yoga in the Christian church?
Yoga at best is against Christianity. It is a system of works based on merging with God. Though some of the language sounds the same, it is a system of works. The poses in Yoga are meant to teach the body how to die! Just peering at the five basic truths of Yoga is enough to make me run!
Why do we accept the peace sign in the Christian Church?
Take the time to find out why. It is not simply a symbol to bring about peace, but is being used to sincretize all of society. It has many different stories of its creation. However, some every citation couples some nefarious meaning to it. One cites its creation to a group with communist and Marxist sympathies. Regardless, it is a symbol of rebellion… and we attempt to reconcile it with our Christianity. That is precisely what it was used for in the 1960s, to rebel against the church and society Curiously, it is accepted and adored by many Christians today!
Why do we celebrate movies like Harry Potter and New Moon in the Christian Church?
They are really good moral stories, but that evil stuff is thrown in just for fun. Come on, incantations and vampires, are not true, yes, but some are carried away unawares. I mean seriously, we are to take character lessons from Edward (a vampire) and proclaim his testimony?
Is Jesus Christ not good enough?
And most dangerous of all, why do we accept the emergent church movement in the Christian Church?
With its focus on the here and now, social justice and sustainability… this is the near end-game of seduction. As Christians, we are encouraged to pray for God’s kingdom to come… it will be a Earthly kingdom, yes. However, it is not our home, or even our hope. Our hope is eternal, as it is written in Revelation 22:14 “Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.”
There is a war being waged… it is spiritual. It is being waged for individual hearts! It is both overt and subtle, through using subterfuge and Hegelian dialectic it reaches deep into the church snaring elders and pastors. The powers-that-be may just be useful pawns, however they serve the father of lies. He is hard at work, knowing as we, that his time is fleeting. These leaders are moving us to the place we are warned to stay away from… medicority. Jesus Himself warned us of His reaction to mediocrity in Revelation 3:16… “I will spit you out of my mouth.”
I would even point to a hint of this prediction in Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, recorded in the Daniel 2:31-45. The image Nebuchadnezzar saw in his sleep was impressive… and it is easily explained by Daniel with revelation from God.
The image is sort of “timeline” of world empires, with the gold head representing the Babylonian empire. Each empire deteriorates, as is evident in its movement from the more prominent position of the head on the body and composition of better materials. As each succesive empire appears, it occupies a less prominent place in the body and the material is of slightly inferior value and density. We find ourselves somewhere close to the feet and toes of the statue… the toes being the final empire. Here is where it is stated in Daniel 2:41-43 as follows:
And as you saw the feet and toes, partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom, but some of the firmness of iron shall be in it, just as you saw iron mixed with the soft clay. And as the toes of the feet were partly iron and partly clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong and partly brittle. As you saw the iron mixed with soft clay, so they will mix with one another in marriage, but they will not hold together, just as iron does not mix with clay.
Here you see sincrety described in the form of iron mixing with clay… but they do not hold together, because iron does not mix with clay.
Christian be wary of everything you are taught… even from your own church leaders. As is written in 1 John 4:1-6:
Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Christian… you can be taught another Jesus. The enemy is working out the last pieces of his dominion. This is his lie, dominion theology taught by the emergent church, to realize Utopia in the here and now. He is using the language of the Christian to lure away captives unaware. Words like justice, hope, kingdom, conversion and salvation arer being used to connect concepts that are biblical with a concepts that are extra-biblical and prideful.
The emergent church is calling for “conversions that can change lives, neighborhoods and this world,” that is meant for the community. It is a gospel of communitariansim (better communism,) and relativism. It is not the true Gospel of the shocking individual recognition of personal sin that leads to responsibility, repentance and service to a holy and loving God through salvation in Jesus Christ.
So let’s be clear: sincretism… in other words is oxy-moronic!

Are You Awake?
Luke 12:37 Blessed are those servants whom the master finds awake when he comes. Truly, I say to you, he will dress himself for service and have them recline at table, and he will come and serve them.
You know what is happening in the world today. You see the signs all around. Now, Christian, is the time to be sober and vigilant. We know the sign posts that foretold these things.
Watch, be vigilant. Pray for your family and neighbors… it is only when those appointed to be the bride of Christ are fulfilled that the Groom comes to claim His bride. It could happen at any moment, there is no set day.
How will the Master find you?

Jerusalem is indeed a “cup of trembling” to the entire world, except of course, the United States. We have moved to our side, the wrong one.
May all mighty God bring peace to Jerusalem quickly. It will happen, He has promised…
God has an agenda for the ages and its centerpiece is Jerusalem. There are also some vast irreconcilable differences between Islam and Judaism and/or Christianity. Islam is not a continuation of Christianity or Judaism. It is the religion that will bring shackles to the entire world.

Expelled Movie – The Ruse
From the mouth of a “smart” “scientist,” he’s basically saying man comes from rocks!
And because of the seeming necessary need for a designer, a conclusion of the field of science known as intelligent design, there are scientists who now push for the idea of panspermia. Panspermia is a belief, yes belief, that life came from spores in space… or some other race made us.
It is my firm conviction, that atheism is a rejection of God and morality, and therefore an act of the will.
Paul described this very well in Romans 1:18-23:
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse. For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. Claiming to be wise, they became fools, and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.
This is the rallying cry for the powers of darkness… “Where is your God?” Notice the voice in the “song?” Scary, huh?
Paul ended with a warning, sorta, Romans 1:28-33:
And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done. They were filled with all manner of unrighteousness, evil, covetousness, malice. They are full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, maliciousness. They are gossips, slanderers, haters of God, insolent, haughty, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, foolish, faithless, heartless, ruthless. Though they know God’s decree that those who practice such things deserve to die, they not only do them but give approval to those who practice them.
Oh, the scoffers have arrived as in 2 Peter 3:3. And people are asking the question in 2 Peter 3:4. But Peter explains it further in 2 Peter 3:5-8, thus:
For they deliberately overlook this fact, that the heavens existed long ago, and the earth was formed out of water and through water by the word of God, and that by means of these the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist are stored up for fire, being kept until the day of judgment and destruction of the ungodly.
But do not overlook this one fact, beloved, that with the Lord one day is as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slow to fulfill his promise as some count slowness, but is patient toward you, not wishing that any should perish, but that all should reach repentance.
He is not slow, but very patient!
