The Democrats have sent in the light infantry. (Hey speech police, are we still allowed to type that?)
Texas Congresswoman and Democrat Sheila Jackson Lee really took it to the Republicans and their attempts to repeal healthcare reform recently.
Among Ms. Lee’s comments was a gem calling the repeal unconstitutional! “The Fifth Amendment speaks specifically to denying someone their life and liberty without due process,” she declared.
She continued, “Can you tell me what’s more unconstitutional than taking away from the people of America their Fifth Amendment rights, their Fourteenth Amendment rights, and the right to equal protection under the law?”
So stealing people’s sweat and treasure to pay for someone else to have healthcare is a-okay?
Hmmm… really, now!
This just makes for more late-night laughs, as the information superhighway is strewn with the wreckage of reckless, ill-informed commentary from Congresswoman Lee. You may occasionally stumble upon one of her myriad attempts at “clarifying” her comments. The questioner states “You, sir, and people who think like you, are destroying this nation.” And all he does is nod his head in agreement… and mutters that is what you are here to say. Wake up America! Know WHO you are voting for, and select purposefully!
The beauty of Americanism is that SOVEREIGNTY is endowed to the individual, not the government. They are systematically attempting, and many times succeeding, to steal that from you!Print This Post Filed under government, news, views | Tags: Constitution, Democrats, government, Health Care Reform, Healthcare, legislation, politics, progressive, socialism, stupidity | Comments (3)
This country is so far skewed left, that we no longer know where the middle-of-the-road, politically is. What was considered middle-of-the-road years ago is nor far-right fringe.
View the Texas social studies issue as a small check on a larger problem, and it makes sense. View the Stupak amendment as a move that buys time for such exposure, and you’ll see that, for the moment at least, he is the sanest guy in town.
I do tend to agree, Bart Stupak is the sanest guy in town. I may not agree with him politically, but you have to hand it to the man, he has personal beliefs and they seem to be not for sale.
Let’s hope and pray that he isn’t for sale!

Then why elect him to Congress?
Seriously… you cannot trust Democrats, they admit they lie, steal and now make it up as they go along!
Wake up America, there is REAL DANGER! There is an enemy within! Before you cast any ballot for any politician… find out WHO THEY ARE and what, if any, character they show!

Are you paying attention?
There is an enemy that has infected the political system of our country. It has completely infiltrated one party and is on its way to infecting the other.
Why is it that freedom and liberty are at stake and our politicians in Washington are giving us lies and propaganda?Print This Post Filed under government, health, news, views | Tags: change, communism, corruption, Democrats, government, Health Care Reform, Healthcare, Obamacare, politics, progressive, the lie | Comments Off on Democrat Congressman Tom Perriello Admits Congressional Stealing
Curiously, there is a little known right guaranteed in the Constitution of the State of Florida. It is here.
ARTICLE I DEFINITION OF RIGHTS, SECTION 23. Right of privacy.–Every natural person has the right to be let alone and free from governmental intrusion into the person’s private life except as otherwise provided herein. This section shall not be construed to limit the public’s right of access to public records and meetings as provided by law.
Reading the plain English, it guarantees me the right from governmental intrusion into my private life. And since the U.S. Constitution and Bill of Rights in Article X declares… “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.”
As I reason, Florida’s Constitution supersedes on this point. In light of the above, I have some questions to ask…
How can the government require me to carry health insurance when it is a clear violation of the above?
Why do I have to answer obviously intrusive and private questions every ten years for the U.S. census?
It seems to me that those who are elected to serve the people do not. They either do not understand the positions of service with which they are entrusted, or flagrantly violate that trust.
I would like to know… how one of the Senators from my state, Bill Nelson, could cast a vote in the U.S. Senate that violates the Constitution of the State of Florida. Can anyone answer this?

I was reading the NY Times headlines stories and came across this
Democrats Clinch Deal for Deciding Vote on Health Bill
“The lines are drawn,” said Senator Richard M. Burr, Republican of North Carolina. “He has to get 60 votes. If he doesn’t get 60 votes, the American people win. If he does get them, America’s payback will come in the form of the 2010 elections.”
It sounds like the Times believes that we, the people, are competing against our elected representatives in Washington. It is a sad thing that they are right. The people we elected to pass laws that we want are doing whatever they want, according to an agenda the citizens of this country do not even realize is in play for the most part.
All I can say is I hope they do NOT get the 60 votes required AND America still pays them back in the 2010 elections. In the mean time call, fax, email and write your senators and representatives in Washington. Tell them that THEY WORK FOR US and you resent them working AGAINST US.Print This Post Filed under government, health, News&Views | Tags: government, Healthcare, obama, stupidity | Comments (3)
