Obama also won’t be around for Friday’s Nobel Concert.

Well… at least cardboard has substance!

And the Russkies saluted his Nobel Prize win for Obama’s work in nuclear disarmament with the launch and subsequent failure of a new inter-continental ballistic missile.

Pakistan is “a broken reed…”

According to a DebkaFile article, Pakistan is “a broken reed in military terms and too vulnerable to lean on.”
Apparently the Taliban took over the army headquarters and key nuclear arms cities as a demonstration that if the government tries to shut them down in Waziristan, they can shut the govt down, including the military control over nuclear arms.
Since Pakistan and Afghanistan are joined at the hip, this is worth watching
