Peace!
It is NOT THE PEOPLE I judge, but the symbol.
Like words, they have meanings, sometimes many different meanings throughout time.
But what I do know, in light of 1 John 4:1-6, we are to test the spirits. Danger lurks everywhere… while I do trust in God, it is that foothold that the enemy may get that concerns me. 1 Corinthians 5:6 also tells us to be very wary of even a little bit of leaven; I know as Christians, we are forgiven… past, present and future, but could this not be used as an entryway for something besetting?
With this seeming occult background, we must flee! Pease consider 2 Corinthians 11:14-15, things may not be what they seem at first encounter, and this only reinforces what 1 John 4 says.
Consider the “accepted” us of the peace sign in the 1960s. It was used to protested nuclear weapons, mock western culture and Christian values. It was called the symbol of a new age of global peace and earth-centered unity. This sounds very familiar… like Gaia worship with the tacit understatement of ecumism. It is more evidence of the unworkable futility of sincrety, and the subtle attack of the enemy to delude believers.
What is the word we use today to describe those who mock and would do away with “western culture?” It is none other than multiculturalism. The usage of the symbol declared fornication, drug use and rebellion were all right!
It is said the peace sign was created by request of Lord Bertrand Russell. He headed the British Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament. His political views mimic those of the progressives of today, including the covert anti-Semitism that flows unfettered within the ranks of the that movement. He was also a Fabian socialist, those who prefer socialism by evolution, not revolution. The Fabians are now members of Britain’s current Labor party, you know from whence former Prime Minister Tony Blair serves. He is currently working to apostate Christianity, and to reconcile all the religions of the world through the Tony Blair Faith Foundation.
Upon this testing, I see nothing good, or quite frankly, even innocuous with the symbol or its use… however, it is to the dubious, recurring, anti-Christ usage I am drawn. Anti-Christ is not to be confused with a (or the) person, just a description of something against Christ. So the water may still remain murky on this, however I will err on the side Ephesians 5:11-12 says I must.
Compellingly, I must also take into account tho
se new-fangled bumper stickers, you know, the ones that spell “Coexist” with symbols. It is tacitly implied that all those symbols are something vastly different than the others, comparatively. It begs the question, why is the cross and the peace sign (or any of the other symbols) juxtaposed?
This screams that the peace sign is somehow incompatible with Christianity!
Still not convinced? Regardless of who, how or why it was created… this peace sign has ALWAYS been a symbol of rebellion! I leave one more passage for you found in 1 Samuel 15:22-23 “So Samuel said: “Has the Lord as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, As in obeying the voice of the Lord? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, And to heed than the fat of rams. For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, And stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the word of the Lord, He also has rejected you from being king.”

A Time for Choosing – 45 years later
A Time for Choosing
by Ronald Reagan
October 27, 1964
To a significant degree, Ronald Reagan’s election to the presidency stems from this speech, given on national television on behalf of, and sponsored by, Barry Goldwater’s 1964 presidential campaign. The speech remains amazingly fresh as a statement of modern American conservative philosophy four decades after it was delivered.
Thank you very much. Thank you and good evening. The sponsor has been identified, but unlike most television programs, the performer hasn’t been provided with a script. As a matter of fact, I have been permitted to choose my own ideas regarding the choice that we face in the next few weeks.
I have spent most of my life as a Democrat. I recently have seen fit to follow another course. I believe that the issues confronting us cross party lines. Now, one side in this campaign has been telling us that the issues of this election are the maintenance of peace and prosperity. The line has been used “We’ve never had it so good.”
But I have an uncomfortable feeling that this prosperity isn’t something on which we can base our hopes for the future. No nation in history has ever survived a tax burden that reached a third of its national income. Today, 37 cents of every dollar earned in this country is the tax collector’s share, and yet our government continues to spend $17 million a day more than the government takes in. We haven’t balanced our budget 28 out of the last 34 years. We have raised our debt limit three times in the last twelve months, and now our national debt is one and a half times bigger than all the combined debts of all the nations in the world. We have $15 billion in gold in our treasury–we don’t own an ounce. Foreign dollar claims are $27.3 billion, and we have just had announced that the dollar of 1939 will now purchase 45 cents in its total value.

Obama wins the peace prize???
I called my sister this morning and she said “turn on the news! Obama just won the Nobel Peace Prize!”. So, I turned on the news and there it was: a press conference about the Dark One winning the Peace Prize!!!!????
Are you kidding!!!!???? What on earth has he accomplished since he was elected by the masses he brainwashed?
- he declared June Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Pride month
- he appointed as Safe Schools Czar a man who claims to be “inspired” by Harry Hay, an early LGBT activist and and member of NAMBLA
- he rammed through the Cap and Trade bill to make energy prohibitively expensive to prevent “climate change”
- he apologized for America to the Muslims of the world
- he bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia
- he dissed the queen and prime minister of Great Britain, our oldest allies
- he dictated to Israel that they must give up all ability to defend themselves so they can have peace
According to the New York Times:
President Obama won the Nobel Peace Prize today in part for what the award’s organizers said was a “more constructive role in meeting the great climatic challenges the world is confronting.”
The stunning decision to honor Obama just nine months into his first term caught even the White House off guard.
“Well, this is not how I expected to wake up this morning,” Obama said during a Rose Garden speech.
Ok, so it was for ramming through the Cap and Trade bill. I love it. He passes bad legislation against the wishes of the majority of Americans based on bad science and wins the Nobel Prize. It makes perfect sense. The world sees Obama as the messiah, children sing praises to him and worship him.
Let’s step back for a bit and look at a couple of verses.
I do set my bow in the cloud, and it shall be for a token of a covenant between me and the earth. – Gen 9:13
And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer. – Rev 6:2
During his campaign Obama mesmerized the masses. Catholics voted for him, even though he not only voted for every abortion bill he could but also voted for infanticide bills. Jews voted for him even though he is an anti-semite. He bamboozled many people with his silver tongue. The whole world was declaring him the messiah before the election.
It is so easy to see the globalist agenda being advanced by the current administration and congress. Hate speech bills, cap and trade, refusing to close our borders, making all the benefits of citizenship available to illegal aliens so the system will be overloaded and break down.
Dithering on sending the troops needed to win in Afghanistan, apologizing to any muslim he can find for “American arrogance”, enhancing his appearance of weakness. Printing money and selling debt to China so we will be a wholly owned subsidiary of Peking before long.
They are deliberately destroying America, throwing away our status as a sovereign nation, hitching our wagon to the United Nations, an organization that would love to see the only democracy in the middle east destroyed.
Is Barack Obama the one on the white horse, offering a covenant of peace between Israel and the rest of the world? Only time will tell, but his being given the peace prize based on good intentions sure tells a lot.
Keep your eyes open and do not be deceived.
