Lemme see… man, created in the image of God… seems plausible.
Yet we are expected to believe…
Millions of years of rain falling on the hot rock of a young Earth… minerals collecting… lightning sparking and *poof*… an amino acid…
The same process happening a lot of times… and *poof*… a single cell… a cell with complex machinery to fold proteins exactly as needed to replicate the cell…
And *poof* that cell makes other cells that differentiate themselves and what they will do to sustain life in a collective…
And *poof*…
Oops… my bad… sounds like politics today. Just because you say it does not mean it it true… and most likely, is not!

Good: Nuclear Doomsday Clock Turned Back; Bad: Board Didn’t Factor In Iran
For those who do not know, the doomsday clock lets us know how close we are to the end of the world. It started as a measure of how close the world was to nuclear annihilation, but has since been changed to include all forms of worldwide cataclysmic disaster capable of destroying all life on Earth.
Read the article, pay attention to the list of scientists who are responsible for setting the hands on this clock. Most are atheists, some well known.
While the article takes The Bulletin of Atomic Scientists to task for excluding a nuclear Iran, it is the other exclusion that comes to my mind.
As we march toward the rapture and tribulation, the bible gives us certain signs… among them are:
- People going to and fro and knowledge shall be increased (Daniel 12:4) – we live in unprecedented times of travel and spend so much time traveling, and knowledge increases daily
- We have become lovers of self and money (2 Timothy 3:1-4) – Spa treatments, plastic surgery, every advertisement you see wants you to spend your money on you! People are arrogant and unforgiving and there is a grand lack of self-control
- Increasing deception (2 Thessalonians 2:7-12) – We are deceived constantly and daily, be the press corps, by our politicians and by our own selves.
We are witnessing the signs, those of us who have read the book and understand know. The enemy, the lawless one spoken of in 2 Thessalonians 2:8 is already at work. He knows his time is short.
In my opinion, this is just more of the deception, more of the lie. A false peace and safety… look around, people say peace and those (anti-Christ) peace signs are everywhere. Could this be what is spoken of in Thessalonians 5:1-4?
Pay attention, we are being groomed to follow a worldwide leader. That isn’t so bad, but people will want to worship this leader… and he will want and accept their worship!

Sea level rise affects the Keys
While Mr. Neugent may attempt to find a resolution to the issues he faces as an elected official in the Florida Keys, using pseudo-science to exact tribute from the rest of tax-paying Americans is wrong. Subscribing to global climate change as the cause of the perceived problems he faces in his position of service is fallacious!
Those scientists who espouse the doctrine of Anthropogenic Global Warming have been debunked, permanently! The science involved requires findings to further those conditions required for more government funding. This is the essence of corruption!
People who choose to make their homes on the seashore or any other body of water need to realize THEY assume the risks of their choice. You have chosen to live in an island paradise, yet you would choose to spread your risk to me, why?
Those who choose to live along bodies of water, where property prices command a premium, would presume upon the rest of us to subsidize your choice of home. Well, history proves coastlines, shorelines and riverbanks change over time. The challenge for humans to interrupt this change are indeed steep, and probably far too expensive to be practical.
While it is a problem… Man being the cause is far-fetched! However, to presume to ask all of the rest of us to subsidize your choice of homestead is wrong!
If you are fighting a losing battle, perhaps it is Providence telling you to find another place to live. These are the hardships humanity has faced for ages. For those who choose to live on ATOLLS, where shorelines change frequently, a dose of reality is in order! Maybe it is time that government officials, who’s first priority is maintaining the status quo, need to stop coddling their constituents.
For those homeowners who live in the Keys, perhaps it is time to evaluate your future, and change your plans accordingly. Be smart, there is NOTHING humans can do to change the shorelines that is not astronomically expensive and can last for more than a generation!
Quit using climate change as a way to exact tribute from me!

Science and Religion… are they the same?
For those who are paying attention, have you noticed a pattern lately?
It seems that those cartoons I grew up on, where a certain villain wanted to take over the world, were prognostications. In this case, though, there isn’t any one particular “person” who is doing this.
However, there does seem to be a concerted effort, everywhere, to harness the political will of the world in one entity. And with that, control everything you and I do. I am continually astounded at how fast things are happening.
There are hints appearing daily, and all seem to be small pieces to a larger puzzle. Starting with the engineered recession in 2008, leading to TARP. Then came G-20 and global socialism, followed by single-payer health care, cap and trade, and now climategate. The latest revelation is from a scientist stepping forward declaring a concerted push of what really is a religion. This scientist, a hurricane expert, rips anthropogenic global warming saying, “There has been an unrelenting quarter century of one-sided indoctrination.”
You can also find a push for worldwide population control. Now other countries have joined China’s call for a one child policy! The ultimate goal is controlling every aspect of your life! Perhaps, the boogieman is real, and he is pulling the strings. Your life and your freedom is at stake!
Who is this boogieman? Well, funny thing, in Islam, part of the purification ritual is to rinse your nose out in the morning and before prayer, this is called Ablution. This is because Islam teaches that Satan dwells up in the nose overnight!
Yea, I do believe Satan is real… and I also believe he is the mastermind!
Consider this… Lazy, duped American voters choose ”progressive” politicians because of the promise of goodies from a “benevolent” government. It is fitting, that they choose their own SLAVEMASTERS and willingly indenture themselves! What is more shocking is that they have purchased their own shackles, by supporting progressive environmentalist and animal rights groups with their own hard earned treasure in the name of benevolence.
It is ironic, and perhaps, just. But amidst all of this I am saddened. Saddened, because in this, they have rejected their own freedom. Worse yet, they have willingly and blatantly rejected God’s provision of righteousness for themselves, Jesus! (John 3:16-21)
So I ask… Are you tired of the lies?
Have you reject eternal life all for more leisure and a season to sin?
Did you know… That work is also a gift from God? (Genesis 3:17)
Are you prepared for the certain future of a tyrannical one-world government?
Behold… He says He is coming quickly! (Revelation 3:20; Revelation 16:15; Revelation 22:7,12,20)
Repent, that is change your mind. Reject the lie (Genesis 3:4-5,) that you are your own god. Trust Jesus as your only salvation as you would trust a parachute as Paul says in Romans 3:21-26

Climategate Computer Codes Are the Real Story
To heck with the emails… they were only a significant portion of the dump. There are README notes of a frustrated programmer trying to get the data to say what someone else had made it say before.
Global warming is not caused solely, nor even mostly, and probably ever, by man. There are other undetermined causes that have not been investigated, because there is no government funding nor ability to control everyone’s lives by trading AIR!
Science by government grant is welfare!

I think it is time to rethink government grants. It is my opinion,as an observer of human nature, that these scientists who labor under government grants may be far less than unbiased.
Think about it… if the job you had was to further research and understanding of AGW (Anthropogenic Global Warming.) And you were being paid as a result of a government grant. Knowing that any results of your work that do not support the idea of AGW could jeopardize your funding, what do you do?
There is a built in conflict of interest.
However, there is a far worse scientific scandal that is currently in its second century…
I will give you a clue… This scandal is supported by your tax dollars by paying for public school textbooks that report repudiated theories as part of science for well over 30 years now. This so called science is not, it is propped up by early brainwashing of students. This gives them a particular worldview that forever clouds their thinking, If these repudiated theories would be removed from the textbooks, then this particular religion cloaked as science would be utterly exposed!
Can anyone guess what that is?

This is an interesting read to say the least. I marvel at how far we advance in science… yet how little we truly understand it.
Yes, we can do great and wonderful things, even manipulate existing DNA. We are at the forefront of a brave new world.
But… do we really know what we are doing? Science says that up to 95% percent of the human genome is made of “junk DNA.” Some say it is junk, left over from evolution others say it may have new uses. Regardless, we don;t really know!
Yet, they can manipulate this and create different kinds of cells from stem cells. This is great and may lead to new therapies.
But the tell… comes in the comments:
Don’t keep publishing stories like this ! It upsets the ‘Creationists’ – we aren’t supposed to be able to create life, you see, it is all down to the great master in the sky !
I have to really laugh at stuff like this! The commenter has failed in critical thought. Here’s how:
First… I am a “creationist” and am not upset about a story like this… unless, the stem cells were removed from an aborted baby.
Second… “we” (I read that as human beings) have NOT created life… “we” have only manipulated a few stem cells to make sperm and eggs. This is a natural existing process.
Third… He is the Great Master, but does not reside in the sky. That is language you use to make sense of God to yourself.
What I would really like for science to achieve is this… to create their own dust from nothing, merge this dust into their own elements, create their own error-correcting genetic code, create a living cell with that code, and then have that living cell replicate and evolve into a higher life form. These are some of the simpler tasks… but an already existing single cell organism is so vastly complex that science cannot create one, from nothing.
This commenter does not understand that these scientists are using Someone else’s dust and His patterns. That does not really impressive me or scare me at all.

Look really hard at those single cells… explain how the genetic code came into existence without a sender and receiver who have agreed in advance to the code, otherwise it would be gibberish. Explain your way out of irreducible complexity. Or try something easy how does biochemical protein folding EVOLVE into being?

Wow… these scientists really are riding that wave on the forefront of knowledge.
Co-author of the article, Benoit Famaey (Ph.D., astronomer at Universities of Bonn and Strasbourg) says that “dark matter seems to ‘know’ how visible matter is distributed. They seem to conspire with each other such that the gravity of the visible matter at the characteristic radius of the dark halo (the radius within which the volume density profile of dark matter remains approximately flat) is always the same (across wide range of galaxies). This is extremely surprising since one would rather expect the balance between visible and dark matter to strongly depend on the individual history of each galaxy.”
It strikes me as funny… that as science advances… the hypotheses more and more seem to point to some kind of intelligence that controls it all. Of course we know this to be true… God made all things by His breath and that science will not even entertain the idea of a creator! Instead, they ascribe the intelligence to inanimate matter or forces and call anything else superstition!
And those who believe in a God Who reveals Himself personally to people are ridiculed!

I find this interesting this interesting in light of the fourth bowl judgment spoken about in Revelation 16. Could the next predicted Solar Maximum be a part of God’s judgment on Earth?
Only God knows now.
Could God have planned it this way?
Absolutely!
Will it happen this way?
I don’t know. But, think about the planning… only the infinite Creator God of the universe could have foreseen, and even created the circumstance for something like this.

"Not Evil Just Wrong"
This is a documentary rebuttal of “An Inconvenient Truth,” the progressive propaganda piece from Al Gore blaming all kinds of catastrophe on hyped “science.”
For thinking people like me… when I hear the phrase the science is settled because a majority of scientists agree… that makes me wonder if Copernicus was right after all. Of course he wasn’t… we know better now, but do we really?
